Charlene, one of the the posted recipes called for bread crumbs & that is why I wondered. Ripping the bread works quite well for me too! 😊

The English Muffin bread....I make it. Makes 2 nice loaves and no kneading. Once I put this site on my PC, will post it. My walking buddy never turns down the second loaf.

I just pull the bread apart into small pieces and put it in the milk after it is scalded.

I also have a recipe for whole multi-grain English Muffin bread. It's a TOH recipe...I don't remember making it, but, after reading the reviews, I think it needs something like whole wheat gluten added to make it rise better. I know the white flour one is awesome. The recipe I have made, and it is very easy is " Wonderful English Muffins" from TOH. Read my review (annrms...I made them square!)

Excuse me if this is posted twice...I don't see my "edit" to include this info. I have made this " Wonderful English Muffins" from TOH. Easy to make and delicious. I made them square instead of using a round cutter.
