Good afternoon all
Have had an interesting afternoon so far. Came home from watching the grand boys and got the ice ready for my ankle and sat down put my feet up and turned on the Olympics. Off went the fire alarms for the fourth time in 2 weeks. Got me up and unwrapped and the dog leashed up and out we went into the 94+ degree temps. After the fire company was here and found nothing again. It started to rain so we all came back in. Rain I can take but it was booming also and I don't want to stand outside in that. They had told us after the last time this happened that it was a bad part in the alarm system and it was fixed. Well so much for that answer.
I decided to come here before I hooked back up to the ice.
I have noticed that I have some cucumbers on my balcony plant that are growing. They had been turning yellow and falling off and I was ready to chop it off but saw some larger ones that were actually growing so it was given a reprieve.
Yes, it will be hot and humid in Florida but it is the best time, or was, to visit WDW and miss the crowds. We are going a week earlier this year to see if that helps with the crowds. Disney is offering such deals that people take their kids out of school to go. I was down in December one year and the temp was 40 even with our winter coats on it felt colder than back home.
Well back to the ice...
