Good Monday Morning All.....................
53 again this morning but 81 later and sunny again but windy. Will be a nice day to work outside.
I see there are some new things on the board this morning. I think it is a good idea. Maybe they were here yesterday and I didn't notice them. lol I will have to go and check them out.
Just going to finish mowing today and do my ironing. Maybe throw a dust rag here and there too. LOL
Have a good day All...................................larry

Good morning.
The temperature really dropped overnight and it is mid 50s. Quite a change for us but we should be around the 70s later on - ideal for being in the garden or on the golf course.
Right now it's time to enjoy that first cup of tea. Hubby has already taken the recycling out for pick up, so I have some time to play on here.
Have a marvelous Monday.

Good morning. Warm and muggy here. Back to work. Didn't get in till fairly late last night, so DGS wasn't wanting to get up this morning, and neither was I. But that is life.
Had a good time yesterday. Didn't get to see the youngest DGSs (twins), though. Their mom wasn't feeling well so she stayed home with them. One of their sisters turns 3 on the 29th, so there will be another bday party to go to this weekend. Not sure if I will make it, but probably will, so will see them then. Didn't get to spend as much time with the 3 girls that I haven't seen much lately, because that son and DIL were late and 2 of the girls were asleep when they got there. Maybe I will see them this weekend also.
Have a good day.

Good morning. 54 and overcast again this morning. We are suppose to see some sun today but tonight will dip into the 40's. What a drastic change. Spend yesterday morning in the kitchen prepping dinner for last night. Never did get outside however it didn't rain until about 4. We got 1/2" of rain. Spent most of the afternoon here working on the boards.
Not much else going on here just work for the next 4 days. I can't believe it is almost Labor Day already. Thing will quite down a little after that.
Have a Great Day.

Good morning. Its 55 and windy right now. Ds starts at the community college today for his senior year of high school. Glad we will get one year of free college. Its also my back to work teachers meeting today until 11:30. That's really all I have to do for sure this week. I will go in to work while dd practices volleyball each day since its only a few blocks from the middle school. I have lots of paper work to photo copy for home visits and things to get organized. I have 3 weeks before school starts, so if I pace myself it will be fine.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone. Low 60s here and will be another day of low humidity. Was able to get some work done outside yesterday. One old tree stump taken out and one to go. Hard work. Woke this morning to my house reeking of skunk so going to try some mothballs as someone suggested on fb and cinnamon for the house. Have a great day

Good morning everyone. Same weather as Larry and also most of the rest of you except for Leslie who still has hot weather.....sorry Leslie...wish we could send some cool temps your way.
I am going to work today. I have a recliner that needs foam replaced in the seat. Also a couple sewing repair jobs. I doubt it will take me all day. This evening we are going to go to DD's and take her fiancee his birthday cookies, card, and money. He isn't a fan of cake, so I always make him cookies which he takes in his lunch every day.
I am glad to see that the Cook's crock is up and running...thanks, Bette. I haven't visited there yet, but I will when I have some more time than I do this morning.
Hope everyone has a great Monday! Wish I was going golfing with Tasty....but instead...off to work. Charlene

Good morning.
It was cool out this morning when I came to work, actually had to wear a sweater, and it was windy but I loved it it was just like a beautiful fall morning. That all changes today though as we will have a high of 88 today and will be that way throughout the week.
I kept myself busy for most of the weekend. Had company throughout the day yesterday and last night so didn't get a whole lot accomplished besides visiting.
Back to work for the week and I need to try to get at least eight hours each day.
Wishing everyone a good day.

Woke this morning to my house reeking of skunk so going to try some mothballs as someone suggested on fb and cinnamon for the house. Robin...I hate the smell of mothballs worse than the smell of skunk....lol. My MIL had mothballs every where in her house. After she passed and we had to clean it out, everything had absorbed that scent and still has it to this day...that was 9 years ago. I know that charcoal briquets will absorb smells and then you can discard them...guess I'd also try some candles and air fresheners. Charlene
