Good morning. We've got beautiful weather in our forecast for almost all of this week. I am SO happy about that! Being stuck in the house for so long was really wearing on me. I didn't realize it, though, until I was able to open up the house and enjoy the day yesterday.
I have no idea what I'll get into today. I want to be outside as much as I can. I was noticing how pretty the butterfly bush (thank you to Charlene for that!) was last night, so I think I want to get out with the camera and take some nice photos. DH is also going to go with me out to the cemetery today, and I want to get a nice bouquet together for that. It was three years ago today that DStepD passed away. I'm probably going to want to check in with DM today also. When I talked to her yesterday, she had not forgotten about the date. I'd also like to make sure to have a nice supper on the table for tonight. I slacked on that over the weekend a bit.
Wishing everyone a magnificent Monday!

Hello friends. I just couldn't stay away any longer! So I came to the library to bring some books back and decided to check out everyone. I'm staying at my son's home, 3 miles north of Charlene and Larry. We are getting along ok, as she isn't here much and I've spent HOURS reading! Today is her day off and she is helping her Mom freeze corn. So I've come to my "old" town. Maybe I'll drive by my house, but don't want them thinking I'm checking it out!
Today is my second son's birthday - the one where I'm staying. He turns 52 - where did those years go? He'll be home tomorrow, and then wants a load back to CA, so he can be home over Labor Day weekend, to move me to my apartment.
I see changes on this board, will take me a while to learn all the new stuff that has been added. I will have lots of time later to check it all out!
Miss chatting and lots of new names to learn as well. Lily

Good afternoon all. This weekend was very busy. Hubby & I played in a 2 day couples golf tournament. He plays a lot more than I do. I kinda quit playing so much couple years ago. Like gardening better now. We had couple stay with us the weekend also. They played with us on Sat. morning. The tournament this year had 72 couples. Of course, it rained finally. We got over 3" Sat. evening & Sun.morning. Tournament was put off for 3 hours , but we got it all in. Had a great time, but am so very tired today. Went to walk with friends at 5:45am this morning, then picked up stuff at Wally World, washed 2 loads clothes. Now, the bottom is falling out. Time for a nap. Decided to work outside tomorrow. This morning it was 66ยบ. Lowest we have been in a very long time. Sun is shining & very nice outside. Just too tired to wonder out. Made a list of things I want to do tomorrow. Moving a thing or two, trimming back smoke trees, willows--easy digging with all the rain. Got to take that nap. Take care, Happy Gardening, nanatnzone6
