Good morning all. Thanks for opening Charlene but what an early start for you. Another cold start to the day - I saw signs of frost when I got up this morning. Poor hubby has a golf time about 8.30 this morning - hope he puts extra layers on! He finished up in the bedroom yesterday so this morning I plan on getting in there and polishing the furniture, maybe get the windows cleaned and vacuum. Should keep me out of mischief. Have a great day.

Good morning. It was 27°here this morning but is to be sunny all day. Doesn't appear to be much of any wind at the moment. We might hit 50°if we are lucky. My plans are to continue here in the house today plus I really need to work on some of the Lions' stuff on my list as it is time sensitive. I guess tomorrow will be my day outside. The loaf of bread I mixed up yesterday I pulled out of the refrigerator as soon as I got up and it is already in the oven. It smells so good in here right now.
Well sitting here isn't getting anything done. I will check back later.
Have a great day.

Good morning. 42 headed to 61. South winds to 21 mph so that will dictate where I set the plants. I started hauling the dahlia and begonias outside yesterday for a field trip and plan to repeat that. They are getting huge. The poor earliest dahlia is very tall. It shot straight up inside. Was hoping to start to acclimate them and get them natural light. This wind is not ideal but will find a sheltered spot. I wish I could put them in the garage at night but its too cold in there still. This is always the hardest part of not having a greenhouse.
I spent a good chunk of the day painting again. Had one long living room wall to do. Its taking 3 coats of the new color to cover what I had. I went from a combo of a dark burgundy on some walls and a deep gold yellow on others to a honied white on most and dry brown on others. The brown went on much easier. Not only the color was more easy to cover the others but the paint was a thinner consistency (different base colors have different thickness). It was so much easier to use but of course it was just my accent color. So I still have the stairwell to do but did get the header over the stairs done. Mid afternoon I went with dh to gas and wash the work car then returned it. We then walked the 2.3 miles from the work garage home. It was a beautiful afternoon. At home we had coffee outside then gt some sticks picked up. Dh went in to work on some food prep and I got my south beds cleaned off.
Slow typing! Posting and bbl.
That is so annoying. It will reset the whole page when that starts and then I loose everything. Its not any better now so will get my day going here. Softball away today so will leave here by 2:30. Have a good day.

Good morning all. Cloudy this morning. 71° now. Sunny and 80later. The weather has been nice and I've been getting outside earlier now that the days are longer and sunrise is sooner. I've been reading but too tired to respond.
Bet, hope you and Gayle have better days at working.
Leslie, I think you've had warmer weather than me.
Hope everyone has a great Pre-Tuesday.

Good morning. Glad the board is better this morning. I was trying to edit a post late last night and kept getting an upload error. I finally gave up. It's 53 now and heading to 67. I need to make a run to Walmart for cat food again and a few other things.
Gayle, DS texted me this morning that there were still so many people without power and there was a lot of damage so the schools are having an e-learning day today. He said his house is ok and the windows in his car didn't get cracked like many people's did, just that he has 100 dents in his car. I don't know if he counted or just guessing, but after seeing the photo of my niece's car it's possible.
My coffee is getting cold and it's getting late. Been texting DS while trying to do this so I'll be back later.

Wendy, yesterday was chilly and breezy with a high around 60, if it reached that. It was sweater weather going to church. It will warm up gradually and by next week be back to 90.

It is sunny and relatively warm-ish in the lower 50s. The high today is expected to be the lower 60s. How nice that will feel! When I went outside to take some pictures of things I plan to send to DDIL's DM, I was in my bare feet and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The laptop weather station is saying we feel like we are in the low 60s. Once we get there, it ought to feel even warmer. I'm ready! We do have a couple of days coming up that might be tricky with overnight lows hitting or going below freezing. After that, though, the forecast looks good to go for hardening plants off and leaving them out overnight. There is so much swirling around in my head this morning. I need a chill pill. LOL! What I did was start adding things to Google Calendar to get it all out of my head and out in the open. That helps to see it all in print so I can prioritize everything. The first thing I did was go on the website for the local car dealership to see what they have available in my price range. I found a van that is an upgrade version of what I drive now. It has really low mileage on it. There is the seating I was looking for to haul us and DH's family when they visit. Not that that was a priority, but it was on my wish list. I also checked on the price for insurance on it. It isn't out of our price range like I feared. If it does become cost prohibitive, I can drop the coverage to just liability like I have now. I hope to drive it today. This is why I need the chill pill. I am far too eager on this and it will show on my face with the sales manager. I want the best price possible. I'm currently waiting on the deacon to show up. I wanted DH in his living room chair earlier so he was ready. He wanted to wait in the family room until the deacon arrived. DH was right. The deacon still isn't here when I thought he would be. Once he is here and gone, I need to do some running around. I want to get my fluids checked in the van, pick up a prescription for DH, and hit Dollar Tree for a couple of things. After that, I will call the chair companies to get info from them. Gonna be a full day! Charlene, I love the meme. Happy Earth Day to you also. Hopefully, Tasty, the frosty mornings are going to be fewer and further between soon. I hope you do have a sunny day, Bet. That makes a world of difference in so many ways. Even working in the house feels better with sunshine pouring through the windows. Melissa, my dahlias are getting very tall also. I'm a little worried about when we begin their field trips outside. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we aren't overly windy until they are stronger. Best wishes on finishing your painting. I'm happy to hear, Wendy, that you are getting in plenty of outside time. Hopefully the tired you are feeling is a "good tired" from gardening chores. It's the best kind of tired. Good luck with getting with it, Dave. Once the weather cooperates, we can do all kinds of things. Leslie, I was having problems with the board this morning. I kept getting a black screen with weird messages. Things finally kicked in and began working - I hope. This hasn't posted yet. The hail and damages you are describing are astonishing. Wishing you well, Mary, on transplanting! It'll feel good to play in the dirt a bit. Well, I need to get moving. Waving to anyone I may have missed.

Good morning but it will be afternoon until I get this posted. My son is on his way and I was doing things getting ready for his visit.
It is sunny and 54° and sunny outside. Just got my package from Amazon and I thought how did my son get here so fast. It was the Amazon delivery driver.
Not sure what we will be doing this evening, I am sure we will be going out to eat but who knows.
Have a good day

Good morning. It's supposed to hit 76 today! Think I will be about the warmest on the board, except maybe Dave. Too bad I don't have any seedlings to set out on the deck. Since I got the infection from dirt, I'm kind of afraid I could get it again. So, I will get by with seeing the picture thread, and a couple U-Tube videos I watch. The leg has been dealing me fits lately. Have missed a couple PT days. Went to the doctor Friday, and he prescribed Trammadol, which does help. I try to take it just twice a day, and use Tylenol in between. I will be seeing a chronic pain doctor, hopefully, this week, to see if he can help more.
Other than the leg, I'm doing okay. Have a great day!

Good morning, its 42° with mostly sunny skies and expect temps warming to the lower 70s. I was surprised we had a frost advisory overnight as that seems late for this time of the year.
Yesterday after church we stopped for fuel and regular was $4.35 per gal at the station we use. I had 55 cents off per gal with my rewards card so that helped. At other nearby stations regular fuel was from $4.43 to $4.59 per gal.
So thankful Shar says she is feeling great. Her gastrologist office is scheduled to call today to check on her. During Shar’s procedure they placed a pancreatic stent that is expected to pass on its own, and Shar will need an x-ray to be sure it passed and the gastrologist will schedule the x-ray.
Bet, so far 3 or 4 times I have seen a hummingbird on the new mini hummingbird feeders.
Over the weekend I cleaned the entire house in one day, so the floors are scrubbed, the vacuuming and dusting is done and I washed any laundry I could find so, today I am just going to be lazy.
Leroy, good to see you posting. Prayers for your visit with the pain doctor and your pain management.
Have a good day everyone.

Good afternoon,
Sunny & 64*. Nice & warm in the sun, a little chilly in the shade. We got down to 39 last night & when the sun hit the GH this morning it went to 92 before I opened it up. Mike's area has a frost warning for tonight. Has anybody told Mother Nature this is late April?
Been take care of paperwork & e-mail this morning. Going out to cut grass in a few.
Leroy, good to see you here this morning, Sorry to hear the leg is bothering you. I can certainly understand you wanting to stay away from playing in the dirt.
Leslie, if I can find that picture on FB of the Interstate later I will send it to you.
Apparently, this site crashed last night. I couldn't get on at all, not even the Angry Bear. The one time it did load, it crashed as soon as I tried to open a thread.
Mary, our WM has their bags outside in the parking lot too but the space is empty & has been for a few weeks. The only compost Lowe's has available is Worm Casings. Nope.
Looks like I'm not working this week. I have things to do but the store is closed for re-modeling.
Mary/Marnee, the last time I bought gas (last week) it was $3.59 I have a card that gives you 10 cents off a gal but right now they are running a promo for 15 cents off. Still too much.
Catch y'all later.
