This is growing at the base of the ramp. It took a while to see if it was a weed or a flower. Decided it is a weed - Penny Cress. I'll have Adam pull it when it starts to fade, and put it in the garbage can, so it doesn't drop any seeds. There are a few little ones growing in the same area, so they will have to be pulled, too. Birds must have planted them, because I've never had them before. It is kind of pretty, if it didn't spread so easy, it would be neat in the garden. Glad I have something to share. Leroy

Mary...I love seeing the cherry blossoms. I've never seen nor smelled any in person....only in pictures, but they're beautiful. Love your sunset pictures. Leroy...This time of year it's just exciting to see any blooms...even if it is a weed. Good to have you sharing pics here. Gayle....That is a gorgeous rose! Does it bloom only in Spring? This picture was taken to show Melissa how stressed geraniums rebound.....this is a sunburned leaf from being in the GH. You can see where it is forming new leaves at the stem to replace the stressed leaf once I pluck it off or it falls off on it's own. If your red leaves are from stress, this should happen. If they're from soil depravation like Joan mentioned I'm not sure what will happen.

I promise this will be the last of my iris photos. They will soon be done anyway. Just thought I'd show the whole bed. Since I normally only had one or 2 of each color bloom in a good year, it has amazed me that moving them last fall would get them to bloom as well as they have. As you can see, a lot of them didn't but I'm ok with that for now.

Gayle, Gorgeous rose….we had one at our old house called Harrison’s Yellow. It bloomed in the spring but had terrible thorns. Never figured it out but birds loved it and there was always a flock of them in it. Also, it spread and Keith had to dig a tree out of the middle of it. Miss our roses. Think we will try a miniature one outside in a pot. Beautiful Cherry Blossoms, Marnee. Have more of your hummingbirds come back? We are still looking for them here in Texas.

Thank you for the compliments on the Japanese Rose. But I have to explain it is not really a rose. I guess that is what you call the common name for it. The proper name is Kerria Japonica. Mine blooms Spring/Summer but best in Spring. It can get unweidly, if you don't keep it under control, as it tends to spread everywhere. I swear there is a piece coming up all the way over on the other side of the fenced in area of my yard. That's almost 50' away.
I mentioned yesterday about taking cuttings from one of my newer geraniums. Charlene, I need you to tell me what the name of this is.

I mentioned yesterday about taking cuttings from one of my newer geraniums. Charlene, I need you to tell me what the name of this is. Gayle...It's very difficult to tell the name of a geranium by a picture of a leaf. I do believe it resembles an ivy geranium, however. Charlene

Leslie...your iris anre pretty and very healthy looking for just moving them last year. I also like to see the whole bed sometimes instead of just individual pics of flowers.
Melissa...Those have changed a lot in 1 week! Much bigger and looking more like coleus!

Charlene, interesting to see how stressed geraniums rebound. Leslie, lovely irises and I never get tired of seeing them bloom. Linda, so far, I am only seeing one hummingbird from time to time and after having half a dozen in the backyard it seems strange to only see one. Hope you see some hummers soon there in Texas. Gayle, nice looking geranium. Melissa, your coleus are doing well. My Pink Azalea in now in full bloom.
