Here is my stressed looking geranium. It does have some new leaves. I need to pick off more damaged ones.

I made 2 of these today. That's all I will do for the hanging baskets this year. If I had known the salvia was $1 instead of $2, I would have gotten more for a few pots in the yard. I knew the vinca was $1 because they were on a rack that said 5 for 5. There is the one salvia which may get to 15" but that's ok. The vinca probably 12. I dug up some vinca vine to try to fill in. I don't necessarily need trailing plants as I like the look of these pots anyway. I got them cheap from Lowe's about 6 years ago.

Marneeā¦.would love to see your whole yardā¦everything is gorgeous in your photos. Linda, looks can be deceiving. While we try really hard to keep it up my yard is nothing like it used to be. My property is long and narrow and divided into many parts. My backyard has two areas one inside the fence and one outside the fence. Inside is the yard is the lawn, with arborvitae trees along the fence line on two sides. On the outside I have boxwood bushes on both side of the gate and an unpaved area for cars to park. As my house was built with the garage in front it was necessary to divide the yards. The front yard is divided even more with areas inside and outside the gate along with an area of lawn between my driveway and the neighborās driveway. Just keeping the lawn mowed is a challenge. Unfortunately, I am now having to deal with dandelions and clover in parts of the front yard. As I may have told you my mom lived with me for years and loved flowers and before her passing my yard was a showcase. So many people walking by would comment on how lovely her flowers were. A couple of years after she passed someone walking by told me āYour yard used to be beautifulā I just had to smile as they were right. I did have a lawn service for years while I was working but gave that up a few years ago. My sister now helps me with the yardwork and for now we do what we can.

Leslie, I love your hanging baskets. I really should make another salvia basket, the hummers loved it last year. Maybe if I had more plants for hummers more hummers would return. I starting to think I lost most of the hummers here after our winter weather in January as I am now only seeing one hummer from time to time.

Marnee, We put our house on the market when we found this cottageā¦.it sold the next day. The people that bought it never even looked at the houseā¦told our realtor they had driven by it several timesā¦. was so beautiful, they bought it for more than our asking price! At one time we had at least 200 miniature roses! Really miss it and will sure miss the veggie garden. My best friend here wants to know if Keith can grow okra for her in a pot here!š³ Am sure your whole yard is beautiful all the time though.

Mary...Your Azalea is gorgeous! I also love those bell flowers. What cute kitties. I keep debating whether to get another cat or not. Melissa....I think your plant is just has the winter hum drums. Pluck the dead looking leaves off and I bet it will soon start to grow and flourish. I remember Molly giving advice on a stressed plant once...her words..."pluck off the yellow leaves. A yellow leaf is never going to turn green" lol Leslie...That's going to be a beautiful pot. You got some good buys on your plants. My pictures aren't pretty, but they are hopeful that someday I will be sharing flower pics. Lupines are growing

Charlene, you know I'm always jealous of your lupine. More pics of the sedum. It has taken over the back side of the wheelbarrow from one small clump a few years ago and it gets no care. Haven't planted in the front part in several years so haven't even watered it. I'm going to add potting soil to the front and watering can again and plant something this year. Not sure what. I pulled a lot of weeds from the front side but only 2 small ones in the sedum. It's too thick to let anything else through. I have it in the Texas star hibiscus pot and no weeds there either. I need to thin it a little though so water can get through to the hibiscus better. Two different views. It is hanging over some.

Leslie, I use that Vinca vine in all my pots. The sedum looks like a healthy grower.
Some of the Columbine is starting to bloom.

Pretty columbine, Gayle. I miss mine. Haven't had any in years. I just bought some more from Lowe's. At the rate I'm moving it will be June before I get it planted.
I've tried growing it from seed a couple of times. No luck
