Gayle, your Daffodils are beautiful. My white daffodils have started blooming. I call them my Dr. Truth Daffodils. I named them many years ago after a dear friend of mine. He had the quality or state of always being a true friend and was so pleased with the name I chose for these daffodils.

Love the daffs and pretty pink flowers. I see I have some newly planted daffs with buds behind the house. Love how the snowdrops continued to bloom as soon as the snow was off them. Took this Saturday.

Gayle...Beautiful daffs! Mary...Those are so pretty and I loved that you named them. Leslie....Lovely dianthus. The other is pretty, too....are they Mediterranean pinks? Melissa....Those are hardy little flowers! This picture is from last year. These crocus have been up a few weeks this year, but no sign of blooms. It may be too dry or perhaps the bulbs are too old....who knows?

Leslie, I love your beautiful pink blooms. Melissa, your snowdrops blooms are so pretty poking through the snow. Charlene, those crocus were so pretty.
I only wish there was a link to the video I saw on FB the little birds singing was beautiful.

It took me hours for this picture to finally show up so I could download it. Luckily it didn't totally tip over while I was gone. I had to tie it to the leg of the stand as it just wouldn't stand up on its own. It took 23 days from its first drink of water to this. The first bud started opening on Mar. 29 and this I took this morning. It's been snowing all morning, and we now have at least 3" on the ground. Hey, I'll take water in ANY FORM!

Mary-Such a pretty pic. Marybw-I’ve had amaryllis fall over before. I know the subject of hummingbird nests came up the other day. I think this is one. Its fairly beat up from hanging all winter. I found it while outside and just happened to look up and see it hanging from a branch about 8’ from the ground. There are little bits of birch bark and lots of moss.

Mary, your amaryllis blooms are gorgeous. Melissa, wow you found a nest, the only hummingbird nest I have ever seen was at a friends home in California. I am starting to wonder if most of my hummers didn't make our winter weather as I have only seen a couple from time to time and not every day like usual. I have been telling myself it's nesting season.

Have never seen a hummingbird nest here either but all of our trees at the old house were pine trees so probably wouldn’t have seen one anyhow. Love them for sure though.

I will add some daffodils to Gayle's and Mary M., very pretty ones. They aren't much to look at, but they do add color to that spot. I feel like I want to rescue that lone hyacinth and relocate it to another spot. Time to buy more of those in the fall. It needs company. Really pretty pink blooms, Leslie. Melissa, those snowdrops are so incredibly sturdy, aren't they? Do yours migrate into other areas? One of the volunteers at the museum planted a bunch of them a few years ago alongside the building. This year they were blooming in several places in the yard. What a great nest you discovered! I really love your crocuses, Charlene, and need to have some for next year. What a fabulous photo of the tulips and bird, Mary M.! I'm very impressed that you have had those pretty striped tulips that long. I appreciate how they look so different closed and open. Marybw, your gorgeous amaryllis makes me smile.

Mary, Tulips rarely return here for a 2nd yr, let alone 15!! I've been told it's because the Winters aren't cold enough.
I do have buds on the ones I planted in pots last Fall.
