Good morning! It's 40° and cloudy this morning with rain on the way. Hope it doesn't keep folks from voting! We enjoyed the eggplant pasta sauce last night. We weren't too fond of the leftover Cole slaw...I was lazy and used a bag of shredded slaw. It was soggy the second time around. Tonight we will have the rest of the turkey. I will make stuffing waffles and serve all with gravy. Have carrots to roast, but may just resort to cooking a frozen vegetable. I roasted some edamame yesterday to try as a snack. We liked what we tasted. Easy to make. Thaw 12oz. bag shelled edamame, pat dry, put in bowl add a bit of oil (I used garlic oil). Season as desired. Spread out on a foil lined baking sheet. Roast 425° for 30 minutes turning every ten minutes. Cool completely. (I removed them from the hot baking sheet and spread them out to cool.) The Tuesday walkaerobics volunteer retired so I will probably open today. No other plans. Enjoy your morning! Waving!

Good morning Ann and all who follow. 48 at home this morning, going up to 55 with rain coming in this evening. 54 here in MB at 7am and quite foggy. Later on it should be in the mid 60s with a mix of sun and clouds - perfect for a golf game 😊. What a nice time with your sister and brother in law Elza - the weather was just perfect yesterday. Seems like good food for everyone yesterday and everyone was busy too. Have a terrific Tuesday.

Good morning. It is 40°here this morning and an expected high with 45°for a high and rain. Only plans I have for today is to so more cleaning and a trip to town to the transfer station and DGD's with my garbage and recyclables. Have a paper to deliver to the town assessor's of to see if I qualify for a tax break on my taxes for next year. Ann, will you be starting the video every morning or will someone else be replacing the gal that retired. Tasty, your weather sounds just perfect as you said for golf.
Have a great day.

Hello and good morning to all! Today is National Marmalade Day and National Cheese/Cheez Doodle Day. It's also Super Tuesday for those states that are involved in that.
Busy day yesterday. DH took the blind off above the kitchen sink, and together we worked to clean it. I also took off the valance hanging above the kitchen window (as well as the curtain in the hallway bathroom); washed the windows, washed and dried both window treatments and rehung them. I went ahead since the ironing board was up to iron what clothes needed a quick touch while DH gathered up the taxes; we drove to the post office and mailed those off. Then we made up soapy water and washed down the kitchen cupboards. After that, DH went out to pull weeds for an hour while I took a break and did my bike riding. Finally, I decided to make the Black and Blue Burgers for our dinner but ran into a problem with the blue cheese (brand new, but it didn't look right and didn't taste right), so I just pan-fried burgers for a quick dinner.
Today I need to dust and put items back on the 3rd teak wood bookcase, straighten up the hallway closet, bike, and make my Taco Pie for dinner this evening.
Ann, thanks for sharing the how-to with the roasted edamame---I love the stuff!
Tasty, sounds like a lovely day for golfing---have a good time! How was the Chicken Pot Pie last evening from Fresh Market? I haven't tried the pot pie from there, but everything else we've bought over the years has been excellent.
Better get moving before I get too lazy sitting here. Hope to be back later. Waving to everyone! Lori

The pot pie was pretty good, Lori. Doesn't compare to homemade but for the cost - $10 - it was quite acceptable. Plus, while we're here, I'm keeping cooking to a minimum. The fog had burnt off by the time I went for my walk. On my way back hubby joined me - he had been headed to the gym but decided to come back with me for breakfast 😊.

Good morning. Back from the pet area and a load of clothes are in the washer. I hope they are done in the dryer by the time I have to take Mandy to the groomer. If not I'll just stop the dryer until I get home.
I am so not looking forward to getting in and out of the park this morning. As long as I am so close to WM I'll pickup the items on my list so the poor delivery person doesn't have to deal with the mess on the road here. The items will just be transferred from phone to paper in a bit.
The ribs and kraut were good last night but I was't very hungry so have half the meal left. It will be a lunch later this week or go in the freezer for much later. Not sure what to make for today, I'm not hungry yet. :)
Lori, it sounds like you are spring cleaning. :)
Ann, I buy soynuts from Amazon. Jill gave me taste of her edamame once, not much of a difference to me. Too much work to make them myself. :)
Opps Gotta run.......

Bet, all new road out front and we only have that one way to leave or get into the park. An ambulance would be very late getting in here.

Chris, I have been out there for about half an hour and had no problem putting an add on Market Place. Guess I need to check and make sure it went through. I take you aren't teaching this week.

Good morning.
Chris- everyone was out, lol. A couple of my friends posted they were giving up Facebook because of it as they thought they were hacked.
I have been at 5he clubhouse working on a puzzle, I kept saying just one more piece and then I would go home, lol.
Bet- yes lots of board meetings, yesterday's was on the yearly budget, the one before was the agenda, the other one was ByLaws. Thank goodness the monthly meeting is Tuesday. Way to many minutes.

Thanks Chris, I was wondering what was going on with FB. Like Elaine said, I thought I was hacked.
OMG, what a drop to get out of the park. Good thing my car doesn't sit too terribly low or something could've gotten ripped off from under neath. But at least the congestion wasn't at all like it was yesterday.
WM was busy so I wore my mask and shopped. I got only what was on my list too. Yep, I was a good girl. LOL
Mandy did not want to get out of the car at the groomers today. When we got there they had their door open and a large dog was barking. Mandy kept jumping back into the car. I had to carry her in and I told the gal that Mandy was afraid of larger dogs. They don't let the dogs roam free in there which makes me feel very comfortable. I'ld rather have Mandy in a crate for a short bit instead of cringing in a corner or hurt. She will really be happy to see me come to pick her up to go home. But then she always is. The shop has new owners so I had to set up how I want Mandy groomed too.
My groceries are all wiped off and put away. Now for a little snack, aka banana, and wait for the call from the groomer.

I'm washing clothes and tidying up. Along with my grocery order today I got two 12 bottle packs of water by mistake. Called store and was told to just keep them and enjoy. Think I'll put one pack in the fridge for the kids as I don't normally drink bottled water. Somebody on this street will be missing their water! Lori and Tasty, I miss my Florida Fresh Market something awful. I've been known to walk around that store just for fun. Beautiful. My beans were so good last nite. Of course, that's leftovers for me tonite. Also got new to me Banana pudding ice cream with caramel swirls that will serve very nicely as dessert. The high temperature today will be 79. Nice warm breeze. Sweet dreams

Well Just went and did Brian's buckets int he pouring and I mean POURING rain! We are soaked to the skin and both ended u laughing like 2 little kids. But Buckets ate all ready for a boil and a pour. We got about 15 gallons again. So that is about 30 gallons of sap in 2 days. It takes 40 gallons of sap for a gallon of syrup. We hope to have a run into April but most likely not as it is so warm. You need cold nights and warm days for a good season.
We stopped and voted and I got peanuts. I have been feeding the Blue Jays in honor of Birdy. I put up a platform feeder and fill it with a mix of peanuts and cracked corn. They seem to love it. I think of you Birdy every time I watch those Blue Jays coming and going!
