Ah Ha! I wasn't crazy or hacked!
"Tracking website Down Detector showed vast outages at Instagram, Facebook and Messenger on Tuesday, however. The problems were spotted right across the world, suggesting that the outage could be global.
Meta does operate a status page for its business products, including advertising on Facebook and Instagram. That page indicated that all of its products were working as expected."

Good evening. I have no idea why I decided in the morning what I want to get accomplished for the day. Today was no exception. As I mentioned before I got involved in looking at modular home floor plans. From there I went to the kitchen. Big mistake. I made Ranch Dressing and then cucumber salad. Before I got done UPS arrived and I had order a crinkle vegetable cutter so of course I had to try it out so made a batch of french fries to freeze. They are quite time consuming. Then I got involved with putting an item for sale on Facebook Market Place. Of course in the mean time it started raining so there was no way I was going to the transfer station in the rain but I had piled everything including garbage to go to DGD's on the porch as the first step to loading the car. I finally got that all to the garage but on the first trip out I decided to take a look at the plants in shop. Before going back for the rest of the garbage I cleaned up 64 small geraniums and watered twice as many. The dishwasher has been emptied from yesterday and the kitchen is cleaned up from earlier. The load of clothes from the other day are now folded and the second load is in the dryer. Of course the vacuum is still sitting in the middle of the floor in the living room. For some reason it didn't get the inclination that it should work today. So here I sit at almost 5:30 and very little that was planned is done. At least dinner is all pulled from the freezer and just need to be reheated.
Mamma, good for you only buying what was on your list. I am pretty good about doing that however I usually find a few things that I need that I forgot to put on the list. Hope that Mandy likes her new haircut.
Helen, nice mistake on the grocery order but too bad it wasn't something you really use.
Chris that is a nice run on the sap today. If your weather is like mine through the 18th we all the highs will be in the mid 40's and one in the 50's but I think more importantly nights will be right about freezing every night. At this rate you have a change of getting a couple of gallons of syrup. Probably won't be all grade A but will still be good. Glad you are getting a change to relax a little this week and have time to work on your quilts.
Elaine, right about this time of year I really wish I wasn't secretary of the Lions. From now through the end of June are crazy. I a chair of the Easter Bunny sale and even it I wasn't I have to handle the work rosters for all of our events which is contact correspondence, our president is out of the Area for March so constant emails from him for the agenda for the board and regular meeting. We have 2 new members to be inducted this month so that is all the secretary's responsibility to have everything ready for that. I server on the golf committee and we started meeting on that, then there is the garage sale in May that we will be working on by the end of this month. There there is work which right now is out of control with work right through April. Got hit will 9 more additional jobs on top of all the ones we already have. These are big jobs most at least 3 hours per store.
OK enough complaining. I think it is time for an adult beverage and get some dinner going. I have to be up on time for a change this morning as I want to get one store done be for my bone scan in the morning.
Enjoy your evening.
Bet

I didn't realize the outage happened until I saw it on the news. I haven't been on FB all day.
DH made sausage biscuits for breakfast and then we went out to run a few errands. Yesterday while driving to the restaurant, DH "caught a rock with his windshield" -- his words. So our first stop today was our insurance agent, to see about getting it replaced and that will be done tomorrow. Then we went to Michael's to look for a frame for an old map of Anderson County he bought recently. It's an odd size -- 24x25 -- so he'll have to get it online as they didn't have anything like that in stock. After that we drove up to Greenville to Carmax. We are ready to replace my car and that is a good place to browse without a sales person following us. I think we both have a good idea of what we're looking for now.
Came home and had sandwiches for lunch. Not sure what we'll do for dinner. There is leftover lasagna, or we may go out. I'll wait and see what DH feels like doing. Back to work tomorrow for me, but he'll have the rest of the week to get grading done, and also have some time to relax. Our 6-month HVAC checkup is scheduled for Thursday so he'll be home to take care of that too.

Good evening, friends. mamma, not really spring cleaning going on here, but doing some much needed deeper cleaning that should have been done awhile go. Ever since my heart surgery back in 2019 and shortly afterwards being diagnosed with lymphedema in my legs, I've been forced to accept that I can no longer do many things I was once able to. I've had to close my eyes to the deep cleaning that needs to be done and be satisfied with a quick once over. That being said, with my DB and DSIL arriving next week, I've been forcing myself to tackle some bigger projects. Today I got the last of the items in the living room dusted and placed back on the bookcase. I have one more shelf in the hallway closet to finish maybe tomorrow along with freshening up the guest bathroom hand towels and wash cloths (today I cleaned under the bathroom sink cabinet and freshened all the large towels). Honestly, I don't think it matters one way or another to anyone, esp. my DB, if I did these extra projects, but I just feel better knowing everything is fresh and clean. I am very blessed that DH helps me many days with many of the things that need attention, but I still like to do what I can when I can.
Bet, get a good night of sleep before you put another day in at work tomorrow. Stay safe on the roads.
Made the taco pie for dinner. Hit the spot. Still have plenty left but will place it into the freezer tomorrow for another day and time. DH will be having a colonoscopy next Monday. After Friday he has to stop eating almost everything, and as he preps and there is very little that he is going to be able to eat until afterwards. Sunday, we have broth, apple juice, and water for the entire day. Fun, fun, fun!
Did anyone happen to see on the World News tonight about the explosion at a warehouse outside of Detroit? I taught in a Catholic school just one mile north of where this took place. I won't bother giving you all the details but what a dangerous event and so very sad to see that a young 19-year-old died after flying debris hit them.
Well, time to retire to the Lazy Boy. I'll be back sometime tomorrow. Sweet dreams! Lori
