My favorite plant so far this year. Took a lot of yrs. & TLC to get here. Just a few years ago I was ready to get rid of it. I'm sure glad I didn't.

Gayle, your Wisteria is gorgeous. Photinia is a spring bloomer, typically producing flowers in April or May and the neighbor’s Photinia is now blooming. The Photinia produces clusters of tiny white or creamed-colored, delicate flowers that look pretty but I am told have an unpleasant smell. So far I have not noticed any smell from these flowers. The Photina bushes are my neighbor’s and they let them grow wild. Part of these bushes are on my side of the fence and when my honeysuckle grows it gets tangled with the Photinia. Their bushes can be messy in the fall with lots of leaves in my yard. Last year when my tree service was working on my Arborvitae trees I had to pay them an extra $65.00 to trim the Photinia on my side of the fence.

Gayle, that wisteria is beautiful and I'm sure it took a lot of work to get it trained and to this point, but we'll worth it. Mary, I have red tips down both sides of my property. The neighbors planted one side and the former owners of my property planted the other side from what I understand. Yes, this time of year they stink. The blooms may be pretty but I'll be glad when they are done and perhaps my gardenias will bloom soon to get rid of that smell. It does look like your neighbor's are healthy though. Here they get black spot and I believe places quit selling them. They use to be popular in the 70s and 80s. This is the kitten DGD decided to keep. You can't see the orange on the ears but about half of the top of each ear is orange. What she lacks in beauty she makes up for in personality.

Gorgeous wisteria, Gayle! I have heard that they take a very long time to get this pretty. So glad you waited this out and could share with us. Yikes, Mary M., I would not be amused by that extra $65 expense, but it is awfully pretty. Leslie, that kitten is downright charming! That sweet face probably would have gotten my attention also. I hope she and your DGD enjoy each other for years to come. This is what the family room looked like on the 24th of this month. Today is Day 2 of them hardening off. They are getting quite the exposure to wind that I wasn't particularly expecting, but they are staying out until I absolutely have to bring them in later on. Time to toughen up and put on their big plant panties. LOL!

Leslie, what an adorable kitten I can see why your DGD decided to keep her. Wow Karen, you have a lot of healthy looking plants.

Gayle, I can't wait to see your wheelbarrow in another month when it is in full bloom. I love it now, but it should be even more incredible then.

The rain drops on your lupine remind me of my maternal grandmother. When I was just a little girl she told me those raindrops were diamonds. She loved to garden 😍.
Some lovely photos this week. I especially love the wisteria and the kitten.

Gayle....Your wisteria is stunning! Glad you didn't get rid of it. Mary....The Photina is a lovely red and I am envious of your lupine blooms. Leslie...Awwww...she's a cutie for sure. I glad she's found a happy home. Karen...I am very impressed by your 'seedlings'....more like plants. I look forward for them in bloom later. Just another view of my driveway garden

Mary M., you lupine makes me smile. So pretty! I haven't had the best luck with them so I am happy to be able to enjoy yours.
I love what your grandmother had to say about the raindrops, Tasty.
Such a lovely shot, Charlene, of your driveway bed. So peaceful looking.

Gayle, your wheelbarrow is going to be beautiful. Charlene, I love seeing flowers that have finished blooming here. It seems to lengthen the season for me. For comparison I thought I'd post the other 2 kittens. The boy on the left is solid grey. The girl on the right has some white and orange. Both are balls of fluff. DS#2 sent me a photo last night with his middle daughter holding the girl and their dog sitting beside her. I know the girls want one but DS doesn't have time to take care of it when the girls aren't with him. The dog and rabbit are enough.

Love all the flowers and those kittens are all cute. I actually prefer the shorthair. Shes adorable. This hyacinth is almost iridescent in color.
