I ask this question every day at work....
How would you like your eggs?
I like my eggs over easy since I dip my toast in the yolk. 2nd choice would be scrambled. Charlene

I prefer mine over easy, but also like scrambled. Will do hard if there is to be a sandwich.

Scrambled. Do not like runny yolks so anything form without them.

It depends on what I'm eating with them. If I have grits I like them over easy because I mix them in my grits. I'll eat scrambled with anything.

I enjoy an omelette ever so often. I especially enjoy an omelette made with egg beaters. I do not like a runny egg yolk or deviled eggs which is crazy since my favorite pie is coconut custard!!
Go figure😊

I like eggs and my 1st choice would be an omelet. I often make an omelet for breakfast/lunch (brunch). Sometimes the omelet is just eggs and cheese, Other times its ham and cheese. I sometimes add other ingredients like avocado, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes or crisp bacon, just whatever I have on hand.
2nd choice eggs Over-medium.
3rd choice would be scrambled.

I'll eat an egg just about any way, just can't do slimy. I eat omelets almost every day which are actually just scrambled eggs with extra toppings added. I almost always get an omelet with green peppers, onions, ham, and cheese. I also eat eggs over easy. Love deviled eggs or egg salad sandwiches. I make fried egg sandwiches; you crack the egg/s into the pan, and break the yolk so it spreads out. You flip them to cook the second side, and then put between two slices of buttered bread.
I NEVER heard of a BASTED egg until I worked at the cafe downtown. A basted egg is basically the same thing as eggs over easy, only basted eggs aren't flipped. I watched the cook make my breakfast one time. The eggs are dropped onto the grill, water is thrown on the grill beside them, a lid is put over them to keep the steam heat inside. When you take the lid off, the top of the eggs are white just like if you flipped them over, but the yolks are still soft for dipping. I cook them this way at home on lower heat cause I'm terrible at flipping eggs. Small warmed up medium heat frying pan, butter in the pan, eggs cracked in the pan, couple Tbs. water dumped in with the eggs, lid goes on, and you cook. You don't lift the lid totally off, you just peak in, as that lets out the steam. When the whites are cooked on top the eggs are done. You still get the soft yolk, but you don't have to flip them.

I don't know that I have an order of preference. I like eggs over easy but am not good at fixing them to my liking. I also enjoy them scrabbled, deviled, or in egg salad sandwiches. When I was kid, DM would fix fried egg sandwiches. Those I do not like. I'm not sure why because they are just good ol' eggs. LOL!

I eat them just about any way except the top has to be white and the yoke runny when fried. I do the like Mary steamed. Make omelets with just about everything but the kitchen sink in them. I do like a fried egg sandwich when you break the yoke and fry the egg. Also a western egg sandwich with onion and ham. Eggs are good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I prefer them over hard, emphasis on the hard! I always say cook them until they look completely cooked and then cook them some more. Runny yoke or any loose white literally is a big no go for me. Scrambled are not my favorite either. I do like omelettes and I don’t mind hard boiled but won’t eat the yokes unless they are chopped up in egg salad or something. I’m picky when it comes to eggs.

I like eggs most ways...often I call them 'dippy' eggs...these have a soft yolk, good for dipping your toast in. Depends on what else I am having for breakfast...I might do scrambled or in an omelet with onion, green pepper and maybe some bacon or diced ham in them. Like Denver omelette. Right now I am a little sick of eggs every day but that is what DH makes....he does not have much of a repertoire when it comes to breakfast.
