I like eggs pretty much any way they come. But if they are fried the white has to be solid and much prefer runny yolks. Eggs are so versatile and quick 😋.

Pretty much the same as Leroy.
Usually over easy, or scrambled with cheese (makes a good scrambled egg sandwich), I had forgotten all about the fried egg sandwich. I used to make them with the yolk not quite hard & put a slice of bologna on the sandwich with the egg. Haven't done that in a long time. Adding bologna to my grocery list right now. Egg salad & Deviled eggs too.
A Basted egg sounds a lot like Sunny Side Up?
BTW, I rarely order eggs in a restaurant unless it's an omelet.
Oh, and I make my scrambled eggs in the Microwave. Easy Peasy.

Gayle, Basted eggs have a cooked white top over the egg yolk, just like over easy, because they are steam cooked from the water in the pan. Sunny side up doesn't have the whites cooked over the yolk/s, and I consider that gross. I like to make basted eggs at home because I can't flip an egg with out breaking at least one or both yolk, and the yolks end up hard. Hubby and I both like to dip toast in soft egg yolks.

That's probably the only way I don't like them.
