Too hot to be outside today so it was perfect to do housecleaning and DH even helped. Hallelujah! Still makes my parts hurt to do it. I did not even carry water to the pots this morning because it was so humid but had to give them a drink tonight. Then it rained-for at least 2 whole minutes. So much for getting some good old God provided rain to make things feel better. i thought it was going to cool down some too. Boy, was I wrong. Hope all is well in your world.

Hello everyone...glad to see so many replies. I just have a couple of things to say...can't reply to all. Stanette...sorry to hear about your surgery. I need surgery on a bunyon, but will do it during winter months...bet you know why...lol Pintobean...is that you Julie? I just have a gut feeling that it might be. Welocne Ezdoesit...please join in more often...glad to hear it is good for you so far! Melissa...I can always see your siggie on the PC. Bette..sorry you had a bad day. Oh this is nice. An evening chit chat! Is it new here or did you have it in the Back Yard bunch forum? Oh my typing is way too small. Any suggestions?
I am tired and ready for bed but I can't go to sleep until I hear from my daughter that she is back home safely in Colorado. She left Michigan at 2:30 today and arrived in Denver 40 minutes ago if all went well. Then she has to take the shuttle to Loveland and then drive home thru a 35 mile canyon to Estes Park so I am waiting for her phone call. It sure is nice here in this forum isn't it? Thank you Charline or all the hard work you put into this. Mary

Connie not an ugly picture at all, you are a beautiful lady.
I also have to thank Charlene. She called tonight and told me how to post pics from my Google account to Tinypics to here. It beats moving everything over to flickr.

Maryinmichigan...so nice to see you joining us here. I remember chatting with you a couple times in Midwest (I am Lair's sister) The chit chat is common for all of us that were on the Flower board in B&B and then on the garden shed in TOH. I have never had time to visit the Backyard chat. Most of them are not here since they formed their own board and some went to Facebook, I think. Glad to see you got all signed up and are posting...hope to see more of you! Charlene

Good evening everybody. Our humidity & heat have returned also. So different from the past few days. I had all the fans in the house turned off earlier this week & now all are running again. The temp right now, at almost midnight is 77º & 95% humidity. worked most of the day so don't know how high the temp got but I do know every time I stepped out of a store or out of the van, it was like an oven
Lily, glad to see you posting. Hope LINY can get it figured out. Charlene, got my signature on for me too today. She's our computer whiz for today.
Outside of work,nothing going on today. Working again tomorrow & I hope to have a working AC again when I get home.
One of the merchandising companies I work for sometimes expects a lot of work for next to no pay from us. Tomorrow I am supposed to go to WM & check to see if they have 2 pallets of Brach candy on the sales floor & where they are located. Rotate stock if necessary so it looks full & take a couple of pictures. ( Candy Corn, Marshmallow Pumpkins) OK, that's easy; But if they are not on the floor I'm supposed to go into the back room, find them & put them out. No way I'm putting pallets out on the sales floor. One of the answers provided on our reporting form is they could not be located. If they are not on the sales floor, guess what my answer is going to be? First of all you have to use one of those rolling lift things to move pallets; I have no idea how to do that & secondly, WM mgmt. does not like any of us messing around in their backroom.
Kathy, I had a heck of a time finding work when after my DH passed. I worked all my married life til he got sick & need me at home. I thought sure with all my experience I'd have no problem finding a job. It took a year & then it was a PT job that I didn't really like. Hope your luck is beter.
