A tip that I read on FB today....really not a tip but a Health warning......Don't take off to the bathroom the second that you wake up in the morning...lie for 30 seconds before sitting up, then sit on side of bed for 30 seconds and then after standing , stand for 30 seconds before taking off to the bathroom....This lets all your blood get to circulating good and gets your pressure up...the doctor says a lot of people have strokes because they don't take the time to do this.....just a warning...or tip ..
My tip for the week for me was to get off computer and out of my recliner and do some of the work around here that needs to get done...So I did just that yesterday....worked on a childs rag quilt that I wanted in the mail to NJ by last night, ( didn't happen). I did 4 loads of laundry, still not folded....so it seems that while I was sewing I got my neck out of whack and today I have been in recliner or bed all day...except taking DH to his drs appt this morning...I let him out at door and could not find a parking place in the whole lot ,front or back...how could that many people have 8:00 appts at one time...I went through parking areas 5 times and finally parked on the 6th and last row....called the dr office to make sure he found it okay and to tell them to tell him that I couldn't walk that far, so just call me when he was done....then I called back 3 or 4 times and he didn't answer..so after about an hour I went back by where I let him out and he was standing at the front near the curb...he did not have his phone with him...duh...another knock against my neck pain, as I was twisting and turning my head to see if cars were approaching in any direction as I was trying to find a parking place..anyhow my tip is just let it all go and you won't have a clean house but you probably will have less pains than when you did try....it hurts so bad..
I do have another tip......or warning.
I bought a new washer and dryer about 2 years ago...I went looking for the for small one that has the washer on bottom and dryer on top.all one piece....the salesman told me the larger one beside it was a better bargain and a lot larger capacity ( individual pcs.)and cheaper than the small one, and that most washers/dryers of any kind were made these days so they could be stacked if you buy the extra piece to put on top of the washer to make them stackable...so I bought the two large ones and both are front loaders...could not put them on floor beside each other if I wanted to where I had the old ones at because there is a hot water heater in there and there is a door to open on the washer, old one was a top loader ...wouldn't work...so now I have to get on a step stool to reach the controls on the dryer and to get the clothes in and out of dryer....this don't help the neck either....I love both of them but sure wish I had enough room to put them side by side again....Tip , if you go for this when you buy your next washer and dryer, be at least 6 ft tall.... I hate wash days as I know my back and some times my neck will give me problems....
