Is it possible for you to make a separate category (with the blue header, etc.) called Cooking Chat? It would look the same as Gardening Chat, but would contain the cooking daily chats and cooking-related threads. It is cumbersome to find what one is looking for when they are jumbled. It is nice for the gardeners and the cooks to have access to each other's posts, but for the sake of finding things and starting a new daily post, seems to make the most sense to separate gardening and cooking. Just a thought. I have set up boards like this before, and it is not difficult to add another category, from what I remember. Thanks!

Belle, I think Bet has that in mind but she wanted to see how many 'cooks' showed up before doing that. With the response we've had today, I think it would be a good idea.

I am sure that Bette will do that when she has time. Right now she is working on that other new board....I know that because I just got a message from her.
It is nice to have you guys here, but I appreciate the fact that you want your own space. We can always intermingle but when time is limited it is nice to be able to go and find topics you are interested in as well as see familiar names. Welcome to all of you. Charlene

I plan on visiting all of the "threads". My main focus is cooking, but I love talking about gardening, nature, and travel, etc. We'll get it figured out! This site is awesome!

I'm thrilled that everyone welcomed us also. This is a great site. It's easy on the eyes to read. And I know it took a lot of work setting things up. We'll all be patient while things are settling down. I myself like to cook since I have a black, not green, thumb but I do read the posts in the Potting Shed. The new and old pictures of flowers have gotten me through a lot of cold bleak winter days.
We are in the life boat now and I'm happy we're all together. Janet |
