Hello again

I just wanted to check in and make sure I knew how to get on the chat site---thanks Charlene-she really does know everything!
Thanks for inviting me to the new chat site.  I had problems with the old one at last so never got there often.

Today is warm in Nebraska.  Garden club pot luck tonight.  I was going to make a chocolate pie to take-not enough milk-run to the store for more and more cocoa-made the pie in a graham cracker crust.  Beat the egg whites and they were nice and tall for the meringue...it is falling flat.  Do you think that might be a sign I should just stay home?  LOL

Came to the computer to cool off.  I need to meet all the new people on here.  Hope you all have a nice day.

Stay home and eat chocolate pie. To hot to have to go out, even in Michigan.

Connie...you are a quick learner....are you more comfortable here now? I imagine it is the humidity that is making the meringue fall....my Mom would never make it on a humid day for that reason. I bet it tastes good just the same. Charlene

Nice picture of you Charlene. You look younger than springtime! It is warm/muggy here tonight even though it is breezy. Time to put my umbrella down as we may have rain or thunderstorm later on. Our sunset had a lot of orange in it, but some gray clouds in the sky, too.

Just thought I'd stop to say hi to all! Dark here now and time for pj's and do some reading.

Gayle...I am surprised that you do not remember Connie(Auntcon).  She is one of the 1st people I met in person back in 2006.  She posted frequently on the B&B until they made the big " new and improved board."  She visited a couple of times on that board but had difficulties navigating it.  She also posted a couple times on TOH but didn't feel at home.  I am glad she is back!  Charlene
