Whiskey Fudge-annrms 2 (12oz.) packages semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/3 cup whiskey Line an 8x8 baking dish with waxed paper. (I tape into place.) Place chips in a large microwave safe bowl (I used my Pyrex 8 cup measure). Microwave on high 3 minutes or until soft. (Some hold their shape, but they are melted so check before microwaving more as they burn easily. Mix in condensed milk, vanilla, and whiskey. Stir until combined. Turn into baking dish, spread out. Top with another piece of waxed paper and, using that as a guide, press the chocolate evenly into the pan. Keep it covered with waxed paper and put in a cool place overnight or until firm. Turn out onto a cutting board and cut into pieces. Will keep several weeks in an airtight container. Can be frozen. I haven't tried it yet, but I may try orange liqueur in a batch...maybe hazelnut liqueur!!!
