Good morning Everyone..............i see you made it over here Dave. Good deal.
63 this morning and 85 later. It is going to be very humid the next two days or so and hopefully rain by Thursday. Then a cool down for the weekend. Which will be nice for our towns yearly celebration.
I really enjoyed reading the "My Story" thread. Nice to get to know who all is on here and jog the memory of those i already know. LOL Didn't do a lot yesterday. Just odds and ends around here.

Good morning.
Will be low 90s and humid, oh joy.
Will work at least 8 hours and that will be tough with this heat in that building.
I need to make time soon to get down to the DMV to get my drivers license renewed but first need to get new glasses or I won't pass the eye exam.

Good morning. 55 and sunny this morning. Suppose to be in the 80's all week and possible 90's on Thursday then a cool down for the weekend with showers. I love the idea of the cool down but not so much the showers. I really need to get off this computer this weekend and get things done outside.
Got up this morning and as usual went immediately to my email as the other board is a closed board and I get an email to approve or reject each person who registers. My email program would not open. Tried everything to no avail. Finally run a virus scan and nothing of any importance there. However now it is working. I guess it was just sleeping in late this morning. It must be exhausted from the over 200 emails I have received in past 36 hours. It was happy however, there were only 3 new emails this morning.
Not much going on in my life except work. The line cook that I usually work with was off all last week but she will be back today. Not real excited about that. We have 4 line cooks and she is the only one I don't enjoy working with. Oh well the end of the month she will go back to her winter job and all will be well.
Need to check out some threads and make sure everything is running smooth.

Good morning. Work for me also, then I have to get to the store. I'm pretty much out of the necessities - diapers, cat food, and milk. Boy how things have changed. Only the cat food has stayed as a necessity.
Kathy, I also need to get my eyes examined before I renew my license, but I have until the first of December. I need to make an appointment soon, though, because it takes a while to get one. I don't know if I would pass the test or not, but I hate the machines they use, or use to use. And right now our DMV is operating out of a mobile building while they remodel. I hear it is a headache. I always just get my eye dr to fill out the necessary form so I don't have to do the test.

Leslie I had looked up info for our place to renew and was surprised to see that we now have to make an appointment and to also bring in an eye exam report that was taken in the last 6 months. Boy things have changed in the last 5 years since renewing the last time.

Good morning. It is so nice to come here and not get frustrated waiting for the board to behave. If I haven't said it already, Bette, thank you so much for all the work you did and continue to do to keep us all connected with the new board.
Work for me. The kitchen design is done. Now I wait for a start date. It's going to be beautiful.

Good morning from a very comfortable Ontario. Unfortunately it will not last as the humidity will climb rapidly BUT we do have some rain in the forecast. I can only keep my fingers crossed that we do actually get some.
I am hoping to work in the fruit garden this morning but I'm not sure that I'll be able to get any weeds out - they may get to live until it rains and then I will be out there with a vengeance.

Good morning everybody. Looks to be another nice day, like yesterday. At least I hope so. Only 78º sunny. Yesterday evening I actually turned off all the fans in my house for the 1st time in a month or more.
After a few phones calls back & forth with the AC people yesterday & a mention that if I didn't get a definite date for installation I was going elsewhere; they have decided that they do it Thur. This was after being told they couldn't get to it this week but they would try for the 1st part of next week. I just want to call again as soon as they open for business & confirm that we are talking about this Thur.
Working today but will be a short day. And no rush to get there. Need to do laundry when I get home.

Good morning. Gonna be hot and humid today but part of rhe day will be spent in the car. We drive further SW today. Dh wants to visit Pipestone moment where the i dians mined stone to make their pipes. Theres a waterfall and prairie we will visit as well.
Was really impressed with the turnout on chit chat last night. Hope Charlene can get Liny on. I also notice Molly hasn't been back since check in so wondering if she forgot how to login since the restart.
Gayle-dd1 wiped out in gravel on her bike. She has some nice scrapes on her arms and took all the layers of skin off 2 spots on her palm the size of dimes. They seem to be healing up. Using bacitracin and bandages. Today we will let the bad arm air as it was almost all crusted last night. The hand is gonna take a bit.
So happy to see Donna posting. Hope she knows how we missed her and talked about her.
Sorry to hear Tim is having chemo Lair. Prayers for recovery and hugs to you.
Was glad to read so many liked little house on the prairie. We enjoy it too and go there Thursday. Yes Charlene and Lily, we will have to check out the ones by you we didn't know about.
Guess I should get dressed and start packing up. Have a great day. Hopefully I will have cell coverage at the next park, but if you don't hear from me you will know why.

Good morning everyone. It isn't real hot this morning, but it is humid. I may not work on cleaning the carpet today as it may not dry. I have been plugging away doing a 6 X 6 ft area every day. It is obvious where I've cleaned and what needs cleaning yet. We should have had it professionally cleaned, but we are waiting until our old cat is gone. At that time we will also rearrange things in the house. She is blind so if we do that now it just confuses her.
Dave...you're welcome...I'm just glad you were able to get here...and I see you have an avatar! If you don't want to start a new Potting shed every day you can just post on the one from yesterday and that will bump it up. I posted on it so now it is at the top for others to see.
Kathy and Leslie...your talk of renewing license made me run and check mine...I am good for a few years yet. I have always passed the eye exam there without any glasses on. Leslie..it has been a few years since I had diapers o my shopping list...lol...in fact I guess I never have since I used cloth diapers that I sewed.
Tasty...I may also try to pull a few tall weeds today. My theory is that it is easier to pull a big weed than a small weed...that is y story and I'm sticking to it....lol
Bette and Gayle..enjoy your day at work...and Gayle I do hope you can get the AC in this Thursday. Bette glad your email woke up.

Good Morning. The last week I'll wake up in this house. I expect to be weepy all week, as I remember all the good times and every day was good! Have some running to do and not looking forward to it.
I'm going to have to leave a note for my password on here. With my memory anymore I keep the same one for every place. Not good I know, but necessary for me!
Melissa, hope you get to beautiful Historic Bluff County ( here in extreme SE MN someday! Canoeing and hiking are major enjoyments (not for me LOL!)
