You may get them. I just posted on what's cooking on Taste of Home. Ann posts there and had mentioned us to them so I have invited them over to check us out. We may even find so who have gardening interests also.

Morning! It's a beautiful day in my corner of New England!
Betsy - Glad to see you here; I hope we don't get lonely!!! Check out other threads on GS; lots of friendly folks! How affected are you by the drought out in CA? We haven't had measurable rain since June and we had a practically snowless winter so we are desperate for precipitation.
Tonight we are having more of the spiralized veggie noodles that I made using butternut, rutabaga, turnip, carrot, and zucchini. I'll serve them with a roasted vegetable sauce that DH and I made. I'll add some Aldi Italian meatballs to it. Love Aldi's.
Does anyone else take field trips to supermarkets???!!! I absolutely love to browse in them...Aldi's, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Ocean State Job Lot (non-perishable foods). We're lucky enough to have several Market Basket grocery stores in the area...you know the one where the employees and customers went on strike to get a beloved CEO put back in charge last year?
Waving to everyone! Enjoy your day!

Good morning everyone. Betsy - it's so good to see you back in the kitchen! Amazing how the kids grow up.
It is nice to have a new home here for the cooks amongst us - I also registered for the gardeners group over the w/e. I'm sure some of the others will be here soon. Sure hope so. We have been together for so long, I'd hate to lose touch with everyone. I think tonight we will finish off the ribs I pulled from the freezer with a nice salad to go with them Love to get stuff used from the freezer. It will be ice cream for dessert if we want something sweet. I have made a variety of fruit sauces to go with the ice cream - raspberry and blackcurrant are what we have at the moment - a spoonful is just enough to perk up plain ol' vanilla ice cream.
Had an early morning trip to the dentist for a cleaning and a check up. All good for a few more months :D
Enjoy the day.

Ann, I do not have a veggie spiralizing tool, but our DDIL asked for one for her birthday a couple of years ago. I hadn't ever seen one before we bought her the one she was wanting. Looks and sounds like an intriguing concept to me! Both of our kids and their partners enjoy cooking, which I love. Between your post and DDIL's request for a veggie spiralizer, I just may have to look into getting one for us.

Good to be here. I hope come over from TOH. I thought I changed my avatar but it didn't work. I guess it will take me a little time to get use to this.
Chat later.

I am so glad to have all the new cooking members from TOH. It may take us a while to get things established but do feel free to start the threads you used to have. I am sure some of our gardeners will get involved but at least you have a home if you want it.

Hi Cooking Friends! I found my way here from TOH and love this site. I have been posting on TOH since 2002 and am also a volunteer food editor. I hope many more of our friends move over here, and I also look forward to meeting many new friends here.

Welcome to all of you cooks! I guess we have something in common because I like to eat...lol. Actually I catered at a Country Club for 8 years. After preparing so much food for those years...Tues was usually 200 women...Thursday was 350 men...and Sunday brunches were close to 500 people. I had no prep cooks...just me,myself and I. Needless to say I got burned out on cooking. Betsy...if you saw the picture when adding the avatar and it isn't here, you probably just forgot to click "save changes" on the bottom of that option box. Charlene
