This may be a problem.  I posted around a half hour ago and already am on the second page.  I would think there should be more than 5 topics per page.  We are all a little doubtful to change pages because on the old board we may not get back.  Later.  Lair

Morning Lair and others who stop by.

Going to be the last beautiful day here for this week.  The temps. are climbing into the 90's starting tomorrow along with the humidity so guess the A/C will be going back on again.

I'm back.   I have had my coffee and ready to start my day.  I think do the trash and recycling will be the first thing on my list.  Next I will have to check weeds and see if any are easy to pull.  I was thinking they would be since we had ¼" of  rain on Friday but last night I noticed some of my pots were wilted.  Checked and they were bone dry so maybe we didn't get enough to pull the roots.  I watered the pots but too late in the evening to water any beds.  If I can't weed I'll have to go to plan B but don't yet know what that is.  I got a email from Carol.  She said she is reading but has a few things going on right now and will deal with the board when her life has less bumps in her path.  I know how she feels, I wanted to add a siggie but what seemed like a long time I had one all figured out but then learned I needed to open an account and a place to store it, there were several steps after that so I just closed it out and said later.  Tim seems to be improving.  I know he ate something last night and right now he is making Malt-o-meal.  He is able to eat a little more every day so hopefully he will start getting stronger. Andy stopped over last night.  He got back from his trip to some fair that he went to on Wed..  He had called and I didn't answer so he came over to see if I was OK.  He picked all the stuff in the garden and took it in the house for me then just followed me around and talked for a while.  He said I need the mowing done again so will see if he come over today.  Today I also need to start round 2 on getting rid of the flea infestation  we have.  I did find several in front of the french doors so they may be coming in from outside.  They don't bite me but they do Tim.  You would think with all the poison he has in him it would be their death. He doesn't have more than a half dozen bites but to hear him you would thing it was thousands.  The other night he said they were just covering his foot.  I checked and it was just particles of coffee grounds from where I had dropped the spoon after filling the pot making coffee.  Mountains out of mole hills.  Well, I best get moving.  I think one of the boys will be over to weed this morning.  I look forward to seeing more of you post and how the board works for all of you.  Have a good day.  Lair

Hi Lair & all

I'm tired already!!  Apparently I fell asleep playing solitaire on my kindle last night & never moved.  I woke up at 5:30 & my Kindle was on my chest.  No nap on the horizon today either.  I have a massage at 10:30 .  Already ran Allen in for his blood work & back home.  Then have to run Mother to a DR. apt and at 3:15 take Carlen for cheer practice.

Yesterday we came to the conclusion that the thermometer is not accurate.  Figured that after I took Allen's temp and then took mine & mine was higher than his.

Well just about time for the next 'run' so you all take care

Well, yesterday DH wanted to go to LaCrosse, so I agreed to go along. Basically a waste of time for me. I got Culver's ice cream out of it but that was it.
All I have gotten accomplished today is pull weeds, mow lawn, pick up glass and nails, and I finally came in at 2:30 to eat some dinner. Oh, I forgot, I helped carry sheets of plywood out of the shed. I need to go out and deadhead the marigolds now.
I finally got an email from my girlfriend about going out for supper tomorrow night. It's for my birthday which was July 2. Her birthday is Sept. 13, so we can go eat next month again. Life must have calmed down for her. She's the one that will lose her job again to her plant closing. She said it would close in the middle of March, but she may be gone before then. The company already closed one plant and sent all those jobs to Mexico. She makes the electrical wire harnesses for motor vehicles.
DH got a call back on the skin biopsy from last Monday and yup, it's cancer again. He set up an appointment for the end of August to do Levulan treatment on both arms. He has to shave his arms on the Friday before, and then the following Monday they put this stuff on his arms. He apparently can't get any sun on him for 24-48 hours after the treatment, and has to have a long sleeved shirt to wear home. Then he has to go back? and they use the BLU-U blue light on his arms. This is all new stuff they have never done. Every time he goes in they have to freeze a whole bunch of spots on his arms, so they just figure they will do both arms and see it that gets everything once and for all. He said it will take 3 hours for this. Time will tell.   
Well, the works still waiting for me so I better go.

tried to insert picture yeah! it worked...... my favorite daisies......
hope all are doing good..its been busy here. painted one side of building today and another side last week.... we are having a terrible time with moles in the lawn... put poisin peanuts in and in the morning its all dug out where I put them....hmmmmmmmm maybe coons....... nasty things. they wrecked my thanksgiving cactus and was on the side so replanted what they dug out hope it makes it. so that's my story for today....
