Good morning friends.
Another early start to my day. Seems I can't sleep once the sun is up so I am enjoying a quiet coffee and watching the birds.
A chance to do some housework today - it is the only day I shall be home in the morning all week. Then off to an auxiliary meeting this afternoon. At some point I have some more annuals to do up in a big pot. At the grocery store yesterday some gorgeous red and white petunias found their way into my shopping cart. I thought they would make a nice display ready for Canada Day.
No work for tonight's supper! After hubby's golf clinic yesterday they went back in for snacks, included in the cost. I knew that was happening but wasn't sure it would be enough to count as supper. There had been plenty - he even brought home some leftovers 🙄. So tonight we will have the meatloaf. I had also made a rhubarb cake. Hadn't made one of them for a couple of years so really enjoyed the piece I had last night. Lots left to keep us in dessert for the rest of the week.
Have a terrific Tuesday 😎

Good morning. 44 and sunny this morning. We are suppose to see 80 today which is too warm for me. Yesterday was 70 with a cool breeze so comfortable working outside. However, I didn't do a thing I had planned on doing. When DGD came to pick up Annabelle she was sleeping so she started the raid on my garage for pots then the greenhouse for plants. In looking around she decided I needed help so she went home and changed her clothes and we spent the afternoon cleaning out the bed in the fairy garden that I am reclaiming. I still have one little spot to do and get the iris that are left in there dug out then I can add soil and replant it. The kids came after school and they all stayed for dinner which I really enjoyed. Her first trip home the pickup was pretty full. While I was getting dinner she raided the perennial nurseries and other area and I hae been out to see yet how much she dug up. All I know she would get more later as she would be busy planting what she had. I need to get outside and start planting before it gets too hot then get the sprinklers going on everything. It is really dry.
Have a great day.

I deboned 9 thighs and have them in crockpot w/ cream cheese/chives, little broth, salt and pepper over them when cooked will mix cup of peas into sauce and put over noodles. Also have 3 lg. breast in another crock pot which I will dice up and make a cream sauce out of whip cream, flour and gravy mix, poultry seasoning salt and mixed veggies and top w/ biscuits. So will have two dishes made for Chuck and Linda. So have been busy as I deboned the thighs. Such an easy job why pay more money?? Linda does not fix any chicken and not much else either. I am sure Chuck has eaten lots of sandwiches in his day. He looks healthy and good and that is what is necessary.
Will go to town and mail pkg. to my girls for their b-day. Have a check to put in the bank and get few items in groceries. I hoping to get my lawnmower today so I can mow. We had another 1/2" yesterday. We missed really bad storms last night. Blew 9 trailers off the highway. Took roof off Sidney's Post office and lots of hail some 1 1/2"- 2" hail. So we just got rain. Tornado's hit several places too. It really looked bad, news guys were on from 5 - 8:00 then President came on THEN Bachelorette!! Had to get all the romance in for the night!!! How can you kiss so many guys??? OLD age here!!
Sounds like everyone has busy day ahead and that is good. Better than being sick and can't do a thing. I would much rather be so tired when going to bed!!

Good morning all.
It's going to be a nice day here but we have a cloudy start. I just fed the dogs and will take them for a walk now.
Dinner will be cheeseburgers, salad, and fries in the air fryer.
I will be working today. It's been hard to get any work done with the girls off. They like to go and do things. But, I do love having them home. I'll get the work done in due time....
Ann, I bought a Kitchen aid Fridge. I have the dishwasher, double oven combo and soon the gas range and hood. I am so happy to get rid of that Samsung fridge.
Have a great day.

Waving to everyone quickly before we pack up and head back to Texas. Middle DS is here now, taking a few things home with them from the house. The other 2 DS's will drop by soon and we will leave after that. Mary wants us to stop in OK City but I doubt we, but I like it a lot. will have time this trip. We will be heading back up June 28th and stay about a week, so we can take time then. She wants to show us her Israel souvenirs.
Today is cloudy and surprisingly on the cool side. A very nice change!
We have a Samsung fridge in the rv and I
love it. It was the only one we could find that would fit in the space but I happen to like it. I hope you enjoy the new fridge Betsy. Kitchen Aid is a good brand.
Need to get a move on. I have towels in the dryer that are done and need folding and put away. Have a nice day!

Afternoon, friends! It's another perfect "summer" day with sunshine and a warm breeze. Worked out in the garden until the sun got too strong for me. Things are really dry so I spent time watering everything. Still haven't planted the 3 perennials. I'm keeping them watered so they should be OK. Tasty & Chris - Thanks for opening! Betsy - I have a mixed bag of appliances. Frigidaire fridge and dish washer and GE Profile stove and microwave and LG washer & dryer. Enjoy your new fridge! Tammy - Safe drive back to TX! Marlene - You are right about boning meat for yourself. The last time I bought boneless, skinless chicken thighs, they were butchered to pieces and there was so much fat and skin left on them that I spent quite a while finishing the job!!! I'm sure you can debone in a zip, I'm a bit out of practice!! Your recipes sound yummy. That's awful about the storms. Tonight we are having lobster rolls, fries, and TOH's "Emily's Honey Lime Coleslaw...one of our favorites. Waving!

I was busy with paperwork and tidying up today. We had such a nice rain yesterday, even with a little thunder. Delightful. No such luck today, however. Supper tonite was kielbasa cut in rounds and then browned and also Cucumber and Orzo Salad. I've been listening to Andy Williams so will leave you with "May Each Day of the Week Be A Good Day."

I'm enjoying everyone's day, reading through the posts. After work, I stopped to vote in our primary elections and then came home to burgers that DH had cooked on the grill. Delicious!
Laundry is in the dryer and I need to get music together for choir practice tomorrow night but I'm not moving too fast tonight.
