We're golfing this morning and maybe will stop at the grocery store on the way home.  Hope there is some gardening later in the day.  Right now, I'm thinking burgers this evening.

Looking forward to a pleasant weekend here. After work tonight, I'm going to the movies with a couple of my co-workers, to see "Ocean's 8" and I think that will be a lot of fun. Tomorrow evening, DH & I want to go to a Greenville Drive game (single-A minor league baseball team). Of course some necessary stuff will get done too!

Will have the cleaning lady come this afternoon. I have not done much deep cleaning but have not been home too much this week either. Did go to funeral yesterday afternoon. The burial was east of us at the Monroe church and did not go for lunch either. It just got to long and I was ready to come home. I did go see my friends later in the evening so we had a nice visit.

Better go see if I can get things in order here before Pat comes to vacuum. Glad to hear you made it to Ponca Dave and Tammy just fine. So hope things will go as planned and the goodbyes and all work out. Never an easy task. But when our parents get the age they are ready to go too.

Went shopping today and about wore myself out. Lordy, it is hot. Supper tonite will be a hot shredded chicken sandwich and sliced tomatoes. Orange sherbet for dessert. I think I'll play some solitaire and relax this evening. Enjoy your weekend.

Just a quick hello from me. Thanks again for the good thoughts and the nice prayers. We are all doing fine so far. The sisters are here now, and our niece from Utah arrived. Everyone is going through photo albums now. We met with the minister this morning and finalized the plans for MIL's service.

Helen, so glad you enjoyed your trip. Yes, it is hot where you are and also quite hot in Texas. Around Houston we broke records in May for the hottest ever.

Betsy hasn't posted in a little while so I'm sure she is swamped with a million things to do.

Elza, enjoy the movie and the ball game.

Another Sunday school class is bringing our supper tonight, so it will be hit or miss??

Just stopping by with a quick hello to all.  It was a very busy day and then to top it off we've had more drama with DH's family. UGH!

Dinner was Chick-Fil-A. 

DH and I will be painting for the next two days, but I hopefully will find time to stop in even if it's for a few minutes.
