Afternoon, my friends! Humidity finally has exited, and we are in for a windows open, blanket on night. Wiggling in anticipation since I slept poorly last night. Had quite a rain storm as the cold front came in. I went out to open the porch windows that DH had closed due to the storm and spied a HUGE woodchuck munching on the greenery in the back yard! I was so surprised because we are really an urban area.
Tammy & Dave - My sympathy to you and your family. Heavenly peace is a wonderful thing.
Lori - I didn't know that BJs was going public again, but I asked our friend who is our financial advisor about it. While he is not suggesting we do anything, he says "going public" is a good thing...a way for a "private" company to raise money. The last time BJs when public was in 2011. They will be selling stock to raise money. Your mention of mangos made me remember to make the shrimp salad with mangos again.
Chris - I'm so glad your vacation to the seacoast was enjoyable. I've eaten at Bob's. He has a regular restaurant right across the street, but I've not liked my meals there. I was up early, too. I wake up, and, instead of "fretting", I get up!
Elza - Glad the weather is getting drier for you. It's crazy...this weather. Nope, No, no climate change...HA!
Tasty - Yum on the mushrooms...enjoy!
Marlene - Saw a cooking show today where chicken legs were cooked in salad dressing and the drippings were used to make a wilted salad. Not sure about it. Like bacon wilted.... I'd love to try smoked that you are making!
DH just brought the steak in. Have to finish the sides. Waving!
