Happy Friday to us all! I indulged in a loaf of Publix Breakfast Bread for a Mother's Day weekend treat so I am having some for my breakfast today. And coffee -- of course!
DH has to be at Baccalaureate services tonight for the university, so he'll be going to that about the time I get off work. Which means I don't know what we'll be eating but it might just be a ham sandwich tonight.
A big wave to everyone, and I'll see you all later on.

Good morning friends!
Elza- A ham sandwich sounds good to me!
I am going to go to Rutland with my DS and his GF in a few minutes! Will have lunch with them and then bring them back in time for work. DS is applying for a job at the Emergency Room as an ER tech. They asked him to apply. He has been an ER tech for 2 years in Kentucky. The ER here heard that and now want him at this ER. Way more money nd better benefits for him and he still gets to be a fire fighter full time!
Hope all have a great day! ( I am off today!! Yay!!!)

Good morning!
It's cloudy with showers here today. May Gray for sure as they call it here.
Elza, ham sandwich sounds easy and good. We will be having leftovers tonight.
Chris, congrats to you ds. Have a good time in Rutland today.
DD has to go to school early as the seniors get their yearbooks today. Time is flying now.
My printer ran out of ink mid day yesterday. Had to run out and buy some. Since I was at Costco getting that I shopped. I need to get the work done today that I did not get done yesterday.
Waving to all. Betsy

I just got a call from Nursing home and they can't wake Gaylord up this morning. He has been hurting bad and they increased his pain meds to some thing stronger and more of it. He was running a temp last night too. So will take Mom's candy and Kleenex down there and see what is going on. Be back later I hope. Marlene

Good morning.
MARLENE- thinking of you.
CHRIS- good luck to your son on getting the job, but how can he do both?
BETSY-how many in her class? What is the date of graduation?
ELZA-I will also take a ham sandwich.
DORIS- we haven't started packing yet.Lol. We leave Monday morning if weather is good across Kansas and Nebraska. Our back end of truck will be Louies stuff. We have a big climbing post we bring back and forth, plus his toys, cat carrier and food and small cooler for his insulin. We do have another post at each place but he doesn't sit on them only sharpens his claws. Lol. I know he is spoiled. We just bring medicine and a couple changes of clothes. The water cooler and our old fashion popcorn machine. I do bring some of my card making stuff.
On Monday morning I will sit outside in truck with Louie while Bruce puts anti freeze down all the drains.
Well, I need to get dressed, to windy for shuffleboard so I am being lazy. Have a great day.ELAINE

I am sure I will be busy as Gaylord (FIL) passed away at noon today. I was there until 11:10 and left so he went after I left. Will wait to hear from Pauley's (funeral home) as when we can make all the arrangements.

Marlene, I am sorry to learn of your Father-in-laws passing. I am sure he was a fine man.
You can take comfort in knowing that you have been so kind and thoughtful to him and your MIL. You are a fine example of how to treat others.
I am an Omaha native and so enjoy your posts as I am familiar with many of the places you speak about.

Marlene- So sorry for your loss. Hugs to you.
Elaine- DS can work at the ER when he is not on duty at the fire station. They work at fire for a shift which is a full 48 hours then are off until their next week shift. So he is off for 5 days and can work a 40 hour shift at ER.
Had a good lunch at Ground Round (new to us in Rutland) I had a fish taco (3) and they were good.

(((Marlene))), so sorry to read about your FIL. How has MIL taken it? I know you have said he has been failing recently but it's still hard.
