Good morning friends.
Pouring rain here but at least it's bitter cold out.
Elaine, The game was actually exciting but the other team wasn't so great. Maybe they were just having a bad day.
Betsy and Marlene, Sorry to read about your sad news :'( .
Not sure what I'm making for dinner tonight.
Must run for now.
Enjoy your day.

Elza- I am thinking that a rotisserie chicken may just be my answer for supper tonight. I have had hot dogs for 2 nights.
Nancy- Congrats to DD! Yay! On the win!
Marlene- So sorry about your DSIL! I will hold you close in my heart! Dan says it has been a smooth ride ever since so he is really enjoying it. He is on Porto Rico today.
Tasty- Wow everyone is on a chicken kick of some sort I see! LOL Our temps reached 68 yesterday! Was wonderful!
Betsy- I am sorry to hear about your DH's grandmothers fall! Holding your family close in my heart!
Bet- Wasn't it wonderful having such a good day weather wise! LOL I did not even wear a coat! I could wear a skirt to work because I wasn't freezing! LOL
Elaine- Dan is in a single cabin. So it looks small but I was in one with 3 others and it was rather more roomy than I thought it would be. We were not "on top" of each other. Dan says he has quite a bit of room for a single man!
Lori- You had chicken too! Well I will take this as a sign I need to have chicken! LOL
Ann- I can not wait to get to Rye Harbor for lobster! I love that place!
Helen- I love Ann Kurland books. they are fun and really interesting. I see you were the rebel with meatloaf for supper! Good for you! (fist pump)
Pippin- I do miss Sara too! I wish I had her email I would see how she is doing.
Tammy- Poor DH with all the tests! Glad you got some good shopping in though.
WEll I need to go to work this morning. Have my first board meeting as Assistant to Exc Dir. Sounds like fun doesn't it! LOL
"See" you all later. Chris (heading for her first HC of the day)

Good morning gals and Thank You for thinking of me and my DSIL. It is not good she has so much pain. It is in her bones so bad and is very painful. She does not eat or drink and they do the swabs in mouth etc. They did get her rings off yesterday as she is retaining fluid so bad. Hope she will be joining my brother, her DH soon. Is too painful to watch. The kids are so good, she has one son and 3 daughters who are taking turns being there day and night. So it was along day for me yesterday now having coffee and ready to dress and go get my hair cut.
Have a good day and Thanks again. My thoughts and prayers are with you too Betsy and family.

Good morning.
Thank you all for the kind thoughts. Dh's grandma passed yesterday morning. It's been a long few days to say the least.
Marlene, sorry your SIL is suffering so. It's heartbreaking. I am thinking of you.
Not sure what dinner will be. Everything is so up in the air while dh's mom gets everything together.
Waving to all and thank you again.

Betsy, my condolences to you and your family. Definitely a difficult time for you all.
Thinking of you and your DSIL, Marlene. Not an easy time for her and all her loved ones.
I hope you all have a great day. My day will be filled with boxes & more boxes. The end is in sight though.

(((Betsy))) - so sorry to read about DHs grandmother. What a sad way to end her life! Hugs to all the family.
(((Marlene))) - my Dad had bone cancer and it is a horrible thing. I hope for her sake she doesn't linger. It's not kind. Glad her kids are there for her.
Have fun in your new position Chris. I'm sure you will do just fine at the meeting.
I guess you have many days ahead that will be filled with boxes Angela. Hope your move goes smoothly for you. It seems such a long time ago that you said you had 4 months until moving day and yet, here it is almost here. Will be thinking of you.
We have a rainy day too Nancy - seems to be drizzly rather than rainy. Just enough that I don't want to have to go out. Think supper for us will be a stew of some kind - something to go with a damp and chilly day. Guess I need to see what I have in the freezer.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Good day, friends! It's a rainy but warm day. Betsy - My condolences to you and your family. Marlene - Praying for your DSIL's comfort. Bet - How are you feeling? Chris - We have rain checks for the whale watch that goes out of Rye Harbor. Hope to use them this year. I've eaten at Ray's and thought it was delicious especially the seafood chowder. Angela - It's a pain getting things boxed to move, but once done you can enjoy your next "adventure"...! DH is off with his friend at the pistol practice range. Afterwards, they will have lunch. Tonight we are having roasted veggie pasta sauce and vegoodles. The eggplant dish I made was great, but I decided to turn it into Caponata...love that stuff! I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon, and my mom's visiting nurse is coming. Hope I will be home to let him/her in; otherwise, mom will have to come down on the lift to open the door. Will try to check in later. Waving!

Hi ! Betsy, I am so sorry for your loss. I will jeep your family in prayer.
Marlene, also I am sorry about your SIL. My aunt had bone cancer and I understand how painful it can be. So terribly sad.
Today was sunny and warm. I think a front is coming through and we may get rain late this evening.
I am fixing some goulash for supper along with cucumbers and onions. DH will be happy about that. No chicken here!
I am hoping to eat early, then will go play cards at 6. One couple who has been playing with us for a few months are leaving next week. That is a problem with living in a transient community-you make friends then have to say bye!
Tomorrow I go to Houston and get all my hairs cut. I contacted a friend and will drop by to visit her after I eat lunch. They are going to school to eat with their grandkids, so I will go to the nacho chop next door to the salon.
DH is home now, so need to run. Waving to everyone!

Good evening friends! I had some left over steak tips so I made a beef stew.
Tammy- Glad you are getting all your hairs cut and not just one like others! @@
Ann- We will have to meet there. Would be a good place to have lunch together.

Good evening friends.
((Marlene)), that bone cancer is nasty. I am praying for comfort in her final days for your DSIL and her family.
((Betsy)), sorry to read that your DH's grandmother passed. Please extend my sympathy to him.
Got word this afternoon that DFIL will be transferred to a rehab center tomorrow where his doctors want him to mend naturally. Since he is 93 that is going to be a slow process and doctors say he will be there2 to 3 months before he can go home. FIL disagrees and was being a handful-- said he will be walking out of there in 6 weeks and wasn't staying one day longer. DH told him to practice walking and do what they want and just maybe he could do it in 6 weeks--that made DFIL happy and quite for now.
Sorry, but I need to make this short. DH has been out in the garage painting for the past two hours. He just called that he was hopping in the shower and to warm up dinner. We'll have Chicken Posole and for DH I have taken several slices of Irish soda bread from the freezer.
Waving to all. Lori

Hello All,
It was a beautiful sunny day. I took advantage of it since I had a couple appointments. I didn't sleep well at all so can hardly keep my eyes open now. I had a bowl of chili with crackers for supper. Hoping for a good sleep tonite.

Hey everybody. Pretty quiet day at work, which was nice after a busy Monday and Tuesday. DH & I went to a local diner called Pete's tonight. I had their chef salad, which is delicious, and he had a turkey club.
I need to go work on music -- we have revival services next week so I have a lot of music to get ready -- but I'm not feeling very motivated. And of course there is always laundry. ???
It was absolutely beautiful today, sunny and in the mid 70s. Tomorrow looks like rain again.
