Morning, The sun is out bright but clouds coming in this afternoon. Its 39* and the high to be 68*, great. But first I have to go to the store, stop at the booth and get some gas, then its back home and do some yard work. Not a whole lot as this body is hurting some. This comes from Friday working in the yard, then all the walking and swimming I did Saturday, then some outdoor work Sunday. Need to wake the bones up slow. I need to look around and see what I should do this morning, looks pretty good to me, maybe wait for tomorrow to do some house work. No spots that say I need some TLC.
Alice, How are you doing?
Kay, Is your back bothering you?
Snow, Won't be long and those cold weather plants will be growing fast.
MIM, Nothing wrong with celebrating twice on any event, having fun twice. Isn't wonderful when we don't have to cook.
Leroy, Is today the Monday for the open MRI?
Angela, Crunch time, just take it slow.
Lair, I can't rake long either, my guess is my stomach isn't fit. Meaning I don't use those muscles very often. Raking takes the air right out of Ray, hes good for only 2 or 3 minutes.
Alma, Sounds like a fun Sunday plus a new dress, great.
Mary, Yes, only 1 option and it comes with risk. Sure hope they go with option 1.
Well the coffee cup is empty, so I guess I will close and see you later.

Good morning, Carol. Yay, the sun is shining, skies are clear, maybe into low 70's today. Moved a few plants out onto the back deck yesterday - geraniums, rosemary, verbena and dichondra. Gave them a good soaking drink, so they should be set.
Yes, today is the MRI. I called them Friday to see if I can go in feet first and leave my head sticking out. They said they could do that, so hopefully, I can make it through. I've taken the first relaxer pill, and about another hour, and I'll take the other one. I'll let you know.
Have a good day.
Leroy

Good Morning, I have sun here too and a agreeable 42*. Today it should get up to 60* before it clouds over and they say rain and 50's the next couple days. It is all good as , long as no snow. I had a wonderful day yesterday. I went out and put 75' of hose on my machine so I could roam across the whole back yard. I got 1 birdhouse up and got some wood cut so I can put up several more today. Charlene came over with a car load of plants for me. There is no room in the house so they are out on the back deck. I hope we don't get any freezing temps. I'll have to make a plan on what to do if it does turn cold.
Carol, take it easy when you get in the yard. It takes a while to get in shape again.
Mary inMI, I thought about you yesterday. I was wishing I had a friend to come over and do little yard projects for me. There is a pile of branches and junk way out back and I was thinking about talking to the neighbor and get her to clean it up. I went out there yesterday and much to my surprise I found out it is mine. It is right on the fence line but definitely mine.
Leroy, good luck this morning. Those pills never did it for me. I could get on the sled thing but when it started moving so did my stomach. I hope it works out for you.
Snow, are you working 7 days a week now or are you getting any days off?
Judi, are you feeling better or has that cold still got you down?
Kay, I must have missed when you were having back problems. Sorry but I hope you are recovering.
Mary bdwatcher. I never mentioned it but when you posted those pics I noticed you are almost the shortest in the family. With Brylie growing it won't be long before you are.
Hi to everyone and you all have a great day!

Morning. The sun is shining and I believe it's to get into the 60's today. Oh I am so ready. Have never had a cold knock me off my feet like this one. Still coughing when I first get up in the mornings but I can live with that as it doesn't last long. Unfortunately the cleaning fairy didn't take pity on me and do any work so now I have to start making up for lost time . Now hubby has caught this from me so he's not feeling to well. Going to send him to the pharmacy this morning and see if they can give him some cough medicine to help with his cough--he's diabetic so can't take the stuff I was taking. The deck removal/repair/replace is now a go.....With some cooperation from Mother Nature and no rain, they hope to start on that the first part of May. Think I'll put on a jacket, go sit on the deck--faces East and getting lots of sunshine right at the moment--and try to soak up some Vitamin C and warm up a bit before I attempt to start the day. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all.
Carol, we must have the same body conditions...mine does not get the work out it used to so when I do it hurts. First time I was mostly bent over all the time and it took a week for the kinks and pains to work out. Last Friday I was not bent over that much and felt relatively good after ward. Have not gotten out since them but soon I am getting dressed and heading outside. So far the front is not bad, the two west bed areas are as done as they will get until I get back to grub out the grass in the iris.
Leroy, I hope the MRI works for you today and they can see what the cause is.
Lair, if I were closer, I would come help you with the wood and sticks.
Judi, bet you are looking forward to the deck rebuilding. We had ours redone, no additions but problems fixed about 5 years ago. Now it sorely needs scraped etc and restained.
We went to look at new fridges at Lowe's yesterday. They have Samsung, Frigidaire, & Whirlpool. Right now there is a Samsung we like at $1699 that looks promising. Do any of you have any experience with any of these brands and what are the positive and negatives of the brand you know?
I have delayed long enough-must get to work! It is already 60 here but not much wind so should be a great day.

Morning Connie! We have a Maytag frig and love it! It is spacious- freezer across the bottom and the upper portion opens like french doors. I would never have anything other that this one and do hope it lasts for many years! We have had it for about 7 now and most dependable. We purchase many items from Lowe's and find their products to be worthy and solid. The return policy is also generous and reasonable. Happy shopping! Robyn

Connie, we bought GE appliances for our new condo. Of course, no reviews as yet & not a brand you mentioned but here is what it looks like. We have Samsung washer/dryer now and have been very happy with both.

I just started a post that the Decorah Bald Eagle Male hasn't been seen since last Thursday morning. He went missing for 2 days last year but this is almost 5 days and they've done searches by human feet and drones. Not looking promising at all. Mom is thought to be 15 this year and this male was older than her as he took her as his second mate after his first mate didn't return to the nest while incubating eggs. Actually they don't know how old he is so he could be much older than that.
I'm not doing much as I did something to my back and am getting twinges if I bend. Sad thing is I did nothing that should have caused this.
Angela, That frig looks very similar to my DS's frig only he has ice and water dispenser in the left door.
Connie, Ask about repairmen. When my DD was looking at appliances the person at Lowe's told her not to buy an LG brand frig as there were no repairmen in the area. I bought a set of Frigidaire and have only had minor things happen. I bought all of mine as a 3 piece set in stove, frig, dishwasher and got a discount. DD got a frig with water inside on the wall of the door and it is a PAIN IN THE A$$, but it was the only frig that would fit in the spot she had. I would never get a frig without water and ice dispenser in the door. That's another thing, check to see how hard the ice dispenser is to use and how it dispenses ice, into a small bin or large bin.
Lair, Isn't the matriarch of the family supposed to be the little spitfire? I may be short but they do respect me.
Leroy, I hope the MRI went better this time.
Judi, I hope your DH doesn't get too sick from this. Give him Red Cherry Juice.
MaryinMi, Have fun shopping.
Carol, Take the day off and have some more fun.
Well, I'm gonna go watch the news. We have a new royal baby boy and they just said they caught The Waffle House shooter. His dad should get a prison sentence also for giving his mentally unstable son back the guns that were originally taken away from him. The dad told the police that he would lock the guns up and keep them away from his son.

Robyn, our Lowes did not offer Maytag but the Samsung has two ice makers small one in the fridge part that dispenses both Ice and water outside the door. Has the french style doors with the drawer freezer. It has an upright part in the front of the freezer to put box things like pizza or other frozen items. Our daughter has had one like this in her last two houses.
Angela, we saw your freezer in a couple brands, but I do not like the finger prints on the stainless steel so I think we will go with the Black smudge proof stainless as our stove and dishwasher are black as well as the micro but it needs replaced also as their is a crack in the grill cove on top but it works fine.
Mary, that was exactly my opinion of the water dispenser inside the one we saw...not a good idea.
One of the guys at Lowe's said his opinion, the Samsung was the best brand. They also have GE (Frigidaire is a lower end GE product). I have to think fast or wait quite a while since the sale ends Weds. I hate being pressured when deciding on big items.

The fridge we got has ice in the freezer drawer. Time will tell how we or I like that! I am the only one using ice all the time.
Good luck finding just the perfect fridge, Connie.

Connie, If you get ice and water in the door check to see how difficult it is to install or change the water filter. My filter just slides in; some are tricky to install. DH went and bought his new trailer. It was a 3.5 drive one way up in Wisconsin. He sold his old dump trailer of the same size on Sat. morning for $200. He used it for a year and only lost $25 when he sold it. This new one is different and will be much easier to use. He can even drive something up into it. He's already contemplating an interchangeable tailgate. LOL Here's a picture of the only little flowers I have blooming outside, Pale Blue Scilla. I think the crocus bloomed a long time ago when it was warm. The squirrels have taken most of them. I hope my blue Muscari bloom. I have daffodils that barely have tips out but I have one tulip up by the house that I see a bud on. I have the little blue scilla coming up all over the yard. I do see lots of tiny green lift coming forward. My columbine just sat there as it was just too cold to grow. I had 70ยบ today so that will really make things grow.
