Good morning everyone. It was another beautiful day here, 2 in a row now. This will be short and sweet, I;m off to the Dr. today to get migraine med. (Imitrex) I haven't needed it for over 10 years so that's good. I just want it under control so I don't lose days like today hiding Enjoy your day, prayers for those in need.

Dear Donna, It is 5:07 am and I always begin my early morning days with thanksgiving and prayer. You are on the top of my list this morning. May the doctor be guided in his decision regarding the best medication and may you find peace and assurance that indeed, your days will return to good.
A hug from across the miles, Robyn

Good morning everyone. It is 35º and sunny this morning. We are supposed to get to 60º today and I am going to make hay while the sun shines.....meaning do some garden clean up.
Yesterday was a perfect day. I started cleaning off a couple of the beds and hauled 1 load to the dump. I wanted to do the maiden voyage while DS was home so I could call him if I had pickup problems or got stuck at the dump. All was fine. It's the 1st I've driven the pickup since last fall, but it ran great. The dump was muddy, but as long as I stayed on the main road, it was okay. I hope to make a couple more trips out there today.
I got the front porch swept, hosed down, and cleaned up. It is ready for the season and I did have a couple breaks out there yesterday. I went to Lair's in the afternoon and took him a few plants and got some totes from him that I need to pack up things for a garage sale later in the season. When I got home from there I got a text from DGS inviting me to come and sit with him and DGD and a few others on his deck. I had other things I could have been doing but decided I'd go or maybe he'd never ask again. It was fun, so glad I went.
Donna....I will try to follow your advice. I do hope the medication you get today will help get rid of your awful migraine.
Leslie.....have a good day at work.
Robyn...enjoy your day. I am guessing painting may be in your plans? Loved the pictures you shared of the 2 piece dresses. I saw several similar on girls ready for prom Saturday. I really loved the ones with bold floral prints.
Carol...good morning and nice seeing you here.
Wishing everyone a great Monday. Charlene

I hadb't seen the chit chat before posting....so
Gayle...it sounds like you had a very productive day yesterday. I loved the pics of your new rose bed.
Sandy...oh my....I think most of us are finding we aren't as speedy as we used to be and I definitely know I'm out of shape.
Karen...glad you had a nice day yesterday. It's good to know you have a good diner in your neighborhood. Maybe try some food on their menu other than breakfast. You may have discovered the town's best kept secret. I love Mom and Pop places. Sorry about the change in plans for the cousin meeting.
Tasty...a busy day for you also yesterday. Glad to hear you had a nice visit with your Mum. Do you talk every Sunday at the same time? I bet you both look forward to it.
Alma...I am so happy that DD was able to come for a visit and that you got to get out of town and meet DS and family. What a fun day for you! Glad you found something for the wedding. I know you are looking forward to it so much.
Ruth...I bet it was chilly on that side of your building yesterday. In the sun it was very comfortable. Enjoy your shopping outing with DIL today. Charlene

Good morning.
Yesterday was in the mid 60s and oh how I wish that could be the temp all summer and heck since I am wishing, all year. Today will be 70 and I plan on cleaning up the front yard since my roommate (sister) didn't rake last fall and didn't do it on the nice days we have had like she said she would. I take care of the back yard and she is to take care of the small, very small, front yard. Just lazy.
I saw that I have many plants coming up in the yard yesterday and hope to get all the perennial seedlings planted by next weekend.
Glad you enjoyed yourself yesterday Charlene.

Good morning. It is sunny and warming as the day goes on. The latest I heard was that we should hit right around 70° today. I am looking forward to getting outside when I finish here.
Good advice in the meme this morning, Donna. Prayers that the doctor can help you with your migraines.
Leslie, I hope your workday treats you kindly today.
Waving at you, Robyn, from good old northwestern Ohio!
Good seeing you here this morning, Carol.
Charlene, you are a wise woman. Accept those invitations from the kids and grands when they come in! Some of those times are the most special of all. Good job on all the work you got done yesterday! We've gone to this diner many times before for lunch and supper, but DH generally prefers to limit those times because he often sees people there he'd rather not. This time there was no one like that there, just people who were happy to see him. I am not always so keen to go there myself because it is a place I frequented with my friend who passed away, and those memories are hard to shake. Still, the food is always very good and the owners are lovely people.
What do you want to transplant, Dave? I generally just use plastic forks and spoons to gently lift out my seedlings. I use the end of another utensil, pencil, or skewer to make a whole where I want to plant the seedling. Next I cover and water. Is that what you meant or did I read you wrong?
Best wishes with your yard, Kathy.
Well, I am going to wave to those who come in after me or I missed. It is time to get dressed and head outside for a day of fun playing in the dirt. Have a magnificent Monday!

Donna, Thanks for the uplifting words. It will be in the 60's today and the sun is shining. So wonderful to see it after the blizzard last Sunday which dropped nearly 22" of snow on my yard. The snow is all but gone now. I will pick up the sticks and limbs that fell over the winter today as well as maybe wash some screens. My screens go on the inside but I like to clean the sills and the casements before putting them on. Thanking God for a wonderful day and hope the same for all of you, including Donna.

A quick hello again before I crawl back into my painting clothes and head out to the farm shop! You are right Charlene! Painting back on the docket for my day today! A greeting to Marlene! So nice to see you posting on this thread! I have found the folks to be simply delightful in their daily sharing, encouragement and friendship! Hope to see you often here! My book reading these days has focused around numerous non fiction publications! My desire to learn something new every day is my feeble attempt to push the possibility of dementia down the road, around the bend and MILES away from my doorstep! I even have a brand new banjo ( my bucket list!) that I intend to attempt! I play the piano, so music study is not completely foreign- even if the brain has a bit of rust!
Well I am off.....old , patched painting clothes...looking like a fish wife once again! A wave from the farm and the scent of fresh semi gloss! Robyn

It is 3:23 pm. It is 92 degrees. I feel like Margaret Hamilton in the Wizard of OZ.

A feeble wave as I head for the freezer and a full head thrust into the frozen blueberries, Robyn
