I do have a DANDELION!! It's right up against the house on the north side, just as happy as it can be. I just heard on the radio yesterday that I shouldn't be so quick to get rid of dandelions, as they are an early source of food for bees. Didn't see any bees, though.

You heard correctly Leroy. The bees dine on the dandelions until other flowers are in bloom.
I have one lone daffodil that has been blooming for about a week. We uncovered the others Thursday and they have some buds but it will be a while before blooms.

Dandelion greens are good for HUMANS. I see I have a few growing and I'm thinking I might start trying to eat some of those leaves instead of pulling them. I know you're supposed to do it when they are young. I know the flowers and roots are supposed to be good for you also.

I like dandelions. I do remove them from the garden but if they are in the yard I mow them. I think they duck their heads when I mow. I have also eaten the leaves my grandma used an egg wash and fried them. They were pretty good.

Wendy, Not crocus, has thin leaves, and tiny flowers about the size of thumb nail.

Thanks gals.
