Good morning all everyone going to be a wonderful day sun is up and shining going to love it for sure.  Must water the cabbage, kolorabi, onions and broccoli I put in the ground yesterday for it will be warm today they say upper 60’s Yea can’t wait. Will be able to not wear a coat and work outside some.  Transplanted a lot of my stuff yesterday to get ready to put in the ground need to plant some more things up like vines and such so they get ready to go out humming bird vine, black eyed Susan and so forth. Maybe we will finally get some leaves on the trees around here.  I hope everyone is well and feeling good this Sunday morning of to make breakfast and church.  Have a great day everyone and God Bless!

Happy Earth Day!

I am celebrating it twice as I thiught yesterday was the 22nd. Planted my little tree yesterday.🏡

Wished daughter a happy anniversary yesterday too and she also thought it was the 22nd. haha

Need to vacuum this morning and clean the parakeet cage.

No cooking for me today. I made three sausage, mushroom, green pepper, swiss cheese quiches, gave one to daughter Judy.

May take the geraniums and rosemary outside after bit.  They should like the weather, I think.  Clear some room downstairs, too.

Hi to everyone in the MidWest! Looks like spring has sprung here. We’re looking for about 66° today.  An only hope it happens!  Certainly will do wonders on our snow piles & the ice on the lake. Amazing what a few days with warmer temps can accomplish.

Well, this is our last week in what has been home for nearly 23 years! Definitely mixed feelings as our time draws to a close! Busily packing & unfortunately unpacking as we get ahead of ourselves with some things. Yesterday besides packing we defrosted the freezer and have everything packed in three containers that fit nicely into the freezer. Should be easy to get moved. Next Saturday is our big day. Both of our sons will arrive Friday night & our daughter lives nearby. Lots of help with the grands, boyfriends & friends. We should be in good shape. Then, Sunday & Monday we have a cleaner coming to clean the house.

Sure hope Carol is having a wonderful weekend and will come home refreshed. Her getaway sounded like a lot of fun.

Good Morning everyone,  It is 38*and the sun is trying to shine.  They say highs today in upper 50's but tomorrow to be 60*.  I got outside yesterday and did a little in the garage.  Today I want to hook up a few more hoses and be able to walk around the yard.  I did get around a little ways, enough to see a few iris sticking through the dead leaves.  The renters did not do any cleaning last fall so I have plenty to do this spring.  I can't do much raking because it make my stomach hurt so much.  I'll try doing a little each day.  

Snow, I am glad you are able to be so active already.  It would wreck the rest of your summer if you couldn't. 
Mary inMI, I spent all day Thursday thinking it was Friday and then on Friday I thought it was Thursday.  Now today I am thinking it is Morning but not sure of much else.

Angela, Sounds like you are ready.  I hope all goes as planned.  I hope you don't have to move in the rain like I did. I'll be thinking about you.

Leroy, How is the leg?  Did you end up getting the MRI?  I still have not been able to do one.

Nice sunshine in SW Iowa. DD is here and we are heading to DM to meet DS and family for lunch and have a place to visit and just hang out.

Then shopping for a dress for the wedding. Maybe find some shoes and head back to Atlantic Iowa. She will be here Mon and leave on Tue AM.

2 long time JH and Hs friends are coming over one tonight and other Mon after school is out.  I can see school form here and fun to watch activities.

Some day I will get the page and know what is going on over there. But for now it is wonder and then the next day or 2 I get stories and some pix in local paper.

Someone kept running off with Local paper so now we can check it out at front desk, sit in the open area lounge where the other papers are and then turn it back in,

Life is good, Most of the time. Have a great day and pray for a safe trip to DM and back. And to waterloo for DS & family.

Good Afternoon All, Went to church and then stopped for dinner at the cafe. I'm home now with nothing planned. 

Nothing pressing on my agenda so I'll just chill for the day. 

We did go down to meet up with the rest of the family and heard what Dennis and Peg had to say. The dr. gave her two options but it really amounts to only one. 12-14 hr. brain surgery to remove the two tumors; this is what Peg wants. The other option was do nothing and become wheelchair bound and then bed bound with basically not mental functions until she passes at approx. 5+ yrs. (That is NOT an option) Peg has been having right leg issues and this apparently is coming from the tumor/s.

Peg's going to have a CAT scan to make sure surgery is an option. She will meet with the dr. for an hour+ meeting so he can explain what he finds out from the scan and where they will go from there.

Good Evening,  What a fun time we had.  Got home early, took a short nap, worked outside for about 3 hours.  Got supper and now I have some dishes to do.


Going to bed early as I never sleep good other then my bed.
