We are just going to the last wiener roast until October. Lots of people have left and more leaving everyday. If only it would warm up.
Melissa- you did a lot of work today. Great seeing spring in the ground. You didn't have to show that white stuff, lol.
Angela- you guys do have help right?
Gayle- thank you for starting this. I will look in again later. ELAINE

I worked outside most of the day. Besides the couple bed pics I posted I cleaned out 3 other beds. I also picked up 3 more scoopers full of poop. As things melted today more was revealed. So fricken' gross! If you don't live where there is snow for 6 months you can't begin to comprehend how much crap you can find in your yard! Yuck yuck yuck!! I did spend a little time just sitting in the sun on the deck. It was about 56 and no wind so just felt amazing. Going to be warmer tomorrow! I got a little sunburned even.
Hoping everyone had a fabulous day. Going to celebrate spring and drink some wine and have a campfire!

Good evening. Our weather was lovely, but I never got out in it at all. I don't even know how that happened because nothing was more important in the house. I started out waiting for it to warm up but still didn't make it out when it did. Tomorrow won't be quite as warm, but should still be sunny.
I did manage to do some transplanting today. I'm just about at the end of my seedlings that need transplanting. I'm doing without quite a few things because of lack of germination this year, but I am still happy with what I have growing. This year will just be different, which is okay.
Thanks for opening this up tonight, Gayle. I hope you had a good day.
Elaine, I'm sure people really are starting to move along now that we HAVE to be warming up shortly. It's been one weird spring to try and gauge one's plans. I hope the last wiener roast went well!
Wine by the campfire after cleaning up after the pooch sounds like a good reward, Melissa. I have a slight idea of your dilemma today. That is just one of the many reasons DH has declared us a pet-free home from now on. We just can't handle the upkeep ... especially the chore you had to do today. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the sun. After the winter you've endured, that sunburn had to seem rather welcome.
Well, I need to go pass along a message to DH. I will catch up with everyone later. Have a nice night!

I was going to go make a cucumber salad for tomorrow & then come back here. But then I got sidetracked by 2 phone calls & haven't gotten to the cucumbers yet. Now they will have to wait until after Hawaii 5-0 & Blue Bloods. Assuming they are on tonight.
I want to tell Donna the meme this morning was true for me. And sorry to hear about Tamara's heart problems.
I worked today, nothing unusual there, but not too bad. I ended up doing 2 projects for Foster Grant & those are pretty easy & only one in DG & that one required no lifting or pulling. Still a lot of resets left to do in the next couple of weeks but most of the "heavy" stuff is done with the exception of laundry items.
It's been sunny all day & mild temps, but that cold wind is still hanging around.
Filled bird feeders when I got home, took Chelsea for a walk & hung up the clothes that somehow seem to accumulate on the bench in the closet.
