Good morning all,  The sun is out nice and bright.  The snow will be leaving soon, and not to return until December.  its 31* and going to a high of 43*.  A big warmup coming tomorrow, close to 50*.  My cat has cabin fever, she wants to go hunting.  Today I get a perm, I really thinking about a major hair cut, oh I don't know what to do, maybe just a little shorter.  After getting home, we are going to go to a Estate sale, not very far from here.  After that I'm not sure what I will do, after being gone for a while, I never like to start anything, so everything I do will be before getting the hair done.

Sorry about not saying where I heard about Leroy and his MIR.  I usually don't read other post, but I guess I had too much time on my hands.  It was late at night.

Judi,  How is the cold today, I think I caught it thru the lines.  Runny nose last night and this morning.  

Kay,  Winds aren't good for wildfires, hope you get some rain.  I don't need glasses to see all my wrinkles.  That's what I get for being outside so much when I was younger.

Connie,  I only iron a few things.  I just hope when Spring decides to show up, we don't go right into summer.  Games are rough when it gets real hot.  Just hope you get some in between temps.

Lair,  I just read the other day, its a first that schools were closed in April due to snow.

Mary  I spend a lot of time watching the birds, and  chasing squirrels.  I don't like cowbirds, right now I have starlings, don't like them either.

MaryMi,  Did you get the heavy snow?  Sure is pretty, but its time to say goodbye.

Alma,  How it goes here, when you quit looking for something, you find it the next day looking for something else.

Snow,  I just hope we don't go right into 80's and 90's.  Just nice temps to work outside.

Good Morning, the sun is shining bright this morning on out 11 inches of new snow.  The man came last night and plowed my drive.  I have piles over 6 feet high on either side of the drive now.  It is 24* and should get into the 30's today. Today is trash day but I don't think I can get it out until the snow drifts melt some.  I need to get cleaned up and see what I can get done today.  thinking I need to water plants.  I will check back later when I am in a better mood and feel more positive.  Have a good day.  Later

No snow here, just sun and going to hover at 60. We would take snow if we could get it!

A boring day here yesterday. Cleaned out refrig and didn't even find any mystery items. Decided to move my washer and dryer upstairs, and so stared into office for awhile, and decided everything would fit. But what to do with all those books!

Lair, yesterday was trash day here, and I couldn't set it all out, here, either. Too windy. I notice the neighbors didn't even bother.

I have a whole backyard full of blackbirds again this morning. Guess I will have to stop feeding until they decide to move on. The Cardinals will be unhappy.

Good morning. Recycle and trash day here as well today. The sun is shining and it is now up to 50°...keep on rising...please!

Carol I am off the the beauty shop for a perm today also and want the back shorter than normal. That is the only place i have any decent hair but cannot get it all to blend in together....hair is very thin. I also need a color but will have to wait a week or so before she will do that. I will have an appointment before I leave there today though.

Kay, did you get the smoke out of Oklahoma? Lots of damage and homes lost there. Feel bad for them.

Lair, I hope it is warm enough for you to putz in the garage if you want to. Different walls to look at. I can imagine how bummed every one up north is with all the extra snow. We are only seeing green today.

Good Afternoon, We have all the snow taken care of. The snow was so heavy it just packed itself down. I cleaned at least 6+" off the top of my car and Jerry's truck last night. We still had to clean a little snow off this morning again. Jerry used the snow blower and I did the shovel cleanup. We left the vehicles sit back a little bit so the sun can melt the ice under the vehicles. 

Nothing planned for today. 

Carol and Connie, I hope your perms turn out like you want them to. 

Lair, I figure I can sit and watch birds. Our garbage goes tomorrow so no worry about getting that out. 

MaryinMi, Lucky you to not get any snow. 

Kay, Too bad we couldn't send you some of this snow.

Hay folks, I have a new summer ward robe. 🤣

A basketful of clothing has been looking reproachfully at me every time I walk in to my basement laundry room...

Things that I have not worn and have not seen the light of day since summer before last!! Well I rewashed them, and ironed them, and now I have all these nice tops just waiting for summer!. I like unbuttoned shirts over tees
And have lots of them. Too many are all cotton. I am going to feel like a new woman!!!

You girls with new perms must look beeeutiful this afternoon 😊

Hope all the snow melts away for everyone that has it and doesn't want it.

I see there are tiny leaves popping out on my lilac bushes.


Jill and I planted a new dog wood tree two weeks ago, and she dug the hole for my new pink flowering crab and placed boards over the hole. We did not plant that little tree as it had pink buds on it and it is still in the garage. Was afraid it would freezw. Way to early for it to bloom

I bought them at Aldis for 14.95 each.i have had good luck with Aldis rose bushes twice.

I am making a couple of quiches so I will be back later.

Good evening, I guess everyone is all curls and feeling good.  I have done very little today.  My biggest deal is I ironed on some patches on my elbows of my shirt.  About 4 this afternoon the snow had melted enough so I could get my storm door open.  It must have been 20" on the porch outside my back door. I did get out and did a little shoveling so I could get in the garage and get out bird feed.  Yesterday they emptied 3 feeders and last night they were showing pictures of dead birds.  They said they were starving with no grass or bugs out yet.  I'll try to keep them fed.  Tomorrow should be a wonderful day since it got up to 43 with all this snow.  Maybe tomorrow more will be gone.  You all have a good evening.

Good evening all was a really nice day here it got up to 54 degrees here so all the snow had melted except the snow Banks we have around here. Tomorrow Cloudy wouldn’t you know it we cant seem to get 2 days in a row with sun for some reason. Rain tomorrow night but at least it isn’t snow I hope we are done with that till December.  We been really busy at work and  the next 3 weeks will be horrible but then a downhill slide I think.  The big plant sale in Lincoln is this next week and in 3weeks the Friends School sale is in MN that we send a whole semi load of plant to.  

Lair I’d I hope you get dug out by June😞 I am sure all that snow is depressing but look at the bright side of all that moisture you will have to put those nice plants out with.  

Carol and connie hope your perms came out like you wanted them too. I don’t remember when the last time it was that I got a perm must of been in the 70’s. 

Leroy hope the leg is feeling better!

kay. I hope you get some rain.  My washer is on the main level, don’t hav a dryer I hang everthing out or have a drying rack. Guess I am really old fashion.
