I fell asleep last evening at 5 and woke at 10:30 long enough to get in my pj's and back to sleep until 5:45 this morning. Man I needed that.
We have 7 people in our office and 3 are out. Boss has been for 3 weeks (flu and complications after the flu) and will not be back until after next week, co worker out for a week (vacation) and one other now will be out for 8 weeks with an injury (knee and with a walker). So I have been picking up the slack as 2 of the 4 of us left are just part time and one of those can only do the DOC part of the program so that leaves 2 of us and one is the obese lady who can not do the apartments with stairs and so that leaves me! Ahhhhhrrgghhh! Deep breathe in and slowly out! LOL
I think I have a way figured out! The lady who is hurt will be collecting temp disability and so we will not be paying her (accident was not on our time) and so I can hire the new Case manager early and have her do some of the work right off. and then I can do the injured lady's work for her and the bosses too. But he will be back in a week so won't be long doing his.
Hope everyone has a great day, Chris

Chris good luck with all your work. I know you will do a good job. You must have been worn to frazzle you did not want to come see me with the Turnip truck after my comments to you the other day. I was just being onry like you usually are!! You must be worn out not coming back to me!!! Sorry I should have not picked on you!! Hope all the clients will behave themselves and you won't have major problems.
It is sunny and still chilly will warm up soon. I have been over and let Bella out and fed them. Neither dog is eating much food. They miss their master! Will go over later and let Bella out and let her run for the day. She is a little terrier and wild!! She loves to see me come and so does Sandy the Lab. They are good dogs. I will go let her out when mailman comes so can get their mail and let Bella outside until tonight then will let her back in.
Will see what trouble I can get into here today. Plan to make some dishes for Chuck and Linda while they are gone. Have some new recipes to try.

Good morning friends.
Cool and overcast outside at the moment.
Taking youngest DD pick out her birthday gift today. We got her something but I let her pick a little something else out. Then I'll get her lobster.
Chris, I'm exhausted for you! Good luck!
Not sure what we're eating yet.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning. I am a liberated woman. Well sort of. The town just came in and plowed my driveway so at least an emergency vehicle can get in here. It is snowing right now but it is suppose to turn to rain and be above freezing. That is a good sign.
I did absolutely nothing yesterday except sit and watch it rain. We got another 6th of an inch. Haven't really decided on what I will get done yet today but it has to be better than yesterday. There is certainly plenty that I could be doing.
Tonight's dinner is blackened bone in pork chop, mash potatoes and broccoli in cheese sauce.
Chris, I think you deserve as many HC as you want. Your job is a lot of pressure right now. Maybe a couple of adult beverages are in order. Take care of yourself.
Marlene, sounds like you are enjoying your dog sitting duties. Let us know what new and interesting recipes you try.
Nancy, sounds like you are enjoying your time off.
Have a great day.

Marlene, Alfredo Sauce is very easy to make. In fact it is on my menu this week. I am interested in your chicken recipes. I love both curry and spicy and sweet.

Sweet 'N' Spicy Chicken 3 T taco seasoning ( I used 1 packet of Mc Cormick's Mild seasoning) 1# bnls. Chicken breasts cut in 1/2 " cubes 1-2 T canola oil 1 2/3 c chunky salsa 1/2 c peach preserves Hot cooked rice
Place taco seasoning in large plastic bag: add chicken and toss to coat. In skillet, brown chicken until done. Combine salsa and preserves: stir into skillet. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Serve with rice. 4 servings This is a TOH recipe by Sheri White, Higley, Az.

Hello and good morning to all. Today is Healthy Kids Day and National Cheese Ball Day.
Just got home from my dental cleaning and getting my pork chops. Will leave shortly to go on a bike ride now that the temperatures are climbing upward this morning and the strong winds are gone.
((Chris)), bless you. I mentioned to DD, also a social worker, everything on your plate and she told me to tell you she sends hugs to you and to hang in there. Happy you got some much needed sleep last night and glad you are having extra HC daily to help you through the days.
Bet, free, free at last! Hope you have a productive day. Please tell me no more nasty winter weather is headed your way.
Marlene, now you behave today--just cook and don't go looking from trouble! Lol! I hope with the 5 new meals you're whipping up that you find some keepers and worthy of making again. Will they all go to Chuck and Linda or will you keep a little for yourself too?
Nancy, is today youngest DD's real birthday? Bet she'll have fun shopping and I know she's going to lick her lips with that lobster. Sending her birthday blessings. Congrats to you NJ Devils for taking game 3 in the playoffs last night. Wow, it was a heated and exciting game and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Tasty, your DMum has been on my mind? How is she doing? Is she excited about the upcoming royal wedding or is that something only we Americans do? I have a friend, who with her sister, will be having a tea party on May 19th while watching the nuptials. The sister is planning to make finger sandwiches and scones for them to enjoy throughout the day.
Elaine, good luck with your appointment(s) today.
Betsy, hope you have a nice day.
Ann, don't know if you saw that last night I made the chicken with the dill sauce. Very nice taste, but my sauce didn't thicken up, even after trying to doctor it up. I have leftovers for another night this week and will play with the sauce before I serve to get a little thicker.
Tammy, what good do you have baking today in your kitchen? What item(s) seem to be the best sellers?
Helen, is Farmer Mike's farm still in business? When DH and I were hunting for it last year, it appeared to be all over-grown and neglected. I haven't been down that way since December (and that was at night), so I haven't been able to check it out again. If still in business, I'm sure however at this point he'd be closed for the season, right?
Not sure what dinner will be this evening, but right now leaning towards Huevos Rancheros.
Have a wonderful Tuesday friends.
Lori
