Ann, yes, the recipe I used is a Starbucks copycat recipe.
Lunch was wonderful, while I was there, Crystal asked me to drive a couple of residents into town -one for an eye dr appt, the other for getting prescriptions picked up. The eye dr appt got canceled since her insurance was not accepted, so we went to CVS instead. Just got home. Glad I planned a quick and easy supper and already have the ingredients.

Nancy- you get unemployment when you are off 3 days? We weren't even allowed to file for unemployment during the summer or our job would be terminated.
Ann- is your cousin in the South East or South West North Dakota? I am thinking you told me around Bismarck area.Eh wants to go back the 1st of May but not me.
Tamara- I am glad you had a great lunch. Sorry your macaroons didn't turn out.
See you later. Elaine

Popping in to say hello. Crazy busy day at work -- and, of course, in the middle of a busy Monday morning, an ongoing computer problem that has frustrated me (and IT) for the past year, showed up again. When I do certain transactions, my teller system just shuts down. Not every time -- but sometimes. It's incredibly annoying. Spent a long time on the phone with my go-to guy in IT -- I feel like we have a relationship now! -- and finally -- MAYBE -- it is fixed. Crossing my fingers and toes that whatever he did, has done the trick. (He told me that because of this problem I'm a legend in their department! Ha!)
Anyway, my sweet DH had dinner ready when I got home, baked ziti with meatballs from Michael Angelos. Cold and windy here today and it will be another cold night but should be warming up for the rest of the week.

I am aching after all the running around I did today. Getting in and out of the car reminds me that my knees are no longer 20 years old. A spot of rest and some ibuprofen will fix me up. It was a lovely day here, kind of windy but warm and sunny. Probably a bit too cool for beach goers, though. I had a pulled pork sandwich and some zucchini fries (from TJ) for supper. Early to bed tonite, I suspect. Sweet dreams.

Ann, the Chicken with Broccoli in Dill Sauce was very tasty, however, my sauce never thickened--very runny. I finally added more flour, however, it still didn't thicken. No problem, it was good!! I have enough leftover for another meal later this week and I'll play around with it before hand to see what I can do to get it thicker.
No work tomorrow as I have a dentist appointment in the A.M. for a cleaning. Afterwards I will run over to the Amish Market as they have a one-day special sale on bone-in pork chops--$1.33 lb.
Going to sit down with DH to watch my Tampa Bay Lightning (Bolts) in their 3rd game of the playoffs.
Have a great evening friends.

Had a busy day going to Wal Mart w/ Marge and out for breakfast. Back home and unloaded my SUV and went over and let Bella outside and picked up Chuck's mail and talked to our old neighbor who has moved and back home. Did load of wash and picked up house. Just went over and let Bella back in the house. She was ready to go back in the house. So hope she waits for me in morning to go outside. Chuck says she will so hope so. I will go over early to let her out. Chuck called and they played the machines this afternoon and he said he was ahead $20.40 for the afternoon! He said they had dinner at Dairy Queen for their $5 meals!! I said Chuck you are on vacation!! He laughed! Glad they got away as they have been married for 45 years as of last Saturday.
Hope you all have had a good day! Seen in My Simple and Delicious is recipe for chicken/broccoli and dill sauce.
