Good morning, everyone! It was a cool, rainy weekend and looks like more of the same today. I'm glad to have some of the pollen washed away, though.
Chicken breasts in the crockpot for tonight's dinner -- will figure out sides when I get home.

Good morning friends.
Betsy, I'm going to start my spring cleaning next week when we're off for 3 days. Time to wash the curtains and clean the windows.
Another chilly day here but on Friday it's supposed to reach 70* :) .
My dryer is being delivered today instead of tomorrow :) .
Last nights dinner was a pork tenderloin with pierogies and broccoli and carrots.
Tonight we're having "Better than take out orange chicken" with chicken flavored rice and string beans.
Enjoy your day.
Nancy

Good morning.
It's going to be hot here today. 81 degrees. I am going to walk the dogs early as they are Boston Terriers and prefer to be in the ac when it gets hot.
Dd is going to school today. She had a better day yesterday. She was up and doing homework.
Dinner will be bbque chicken salad with the leftovers from yesterday.
Nancy, what brand dryer did you get?
Elza, thank you for starting us today. Hope your weather clears up.
Have a great day. Betsy

Good Morning ! It's a gray and gloomy morning here. Our high will be 72 though, so not bad at all.
I am baking peanut butter cookies right now and will deliver those a little later this morning.
We ended up going to Charlie's family restaurant last night. DH got the broasted chicken so he has leftovers for lunch, I got breakfast. Not sure what I will eat for lunch. Maybe a French bread pizza, as I have a large box in the freezer.
I plan on thawing out some ground beef. Not sure what I will make with it. I would like tamale pie but that would involve going to the store, not sure that's what I want to do.
Looking back I probably should have gone to the doctor, but I didn't and now I am so much better. Just took the last Mucinex, so won't take anymore of that. I am not taking cold meds now just some sinus/allergy pills. I have been a little sleepy but have never really felt bad with this stuff. Thanks for the concern !
Yesterday at church DH and I were asked to be the permanent greeters. We would need to be there early, pass out bulletins, and direct new people to children's class rooms. Since church meets earlier now, we need to leave here about 8:45. I will have to try and start fixing dishes that can be done a day ahead, for the potluck.
I think I have an appointment for one of the dogs to be groomed this week, but I did not write down the day, so I have a call in to them. They are not open on Monday, but I think it might be tomorrow. Tuesdays are usually open for me. I have cards Wednesday night, and Thursday evening I will be working at the clothing pantry from 5-7. We are doing the final push to get the shop open in about 2 weeks.
I will need to remember to thaw out a brisket on Wednesday so it will be ready to chop up and add sauce. This Sunday is baked potato day, so we are taking the chopped bbq beef for a topping.
I hope everyone has a nice day. Waving to all!

Good morning. 12 here this morning but at least the sun is shining. However, sadly it is the last time we will see the sun for the next 10 days. Good news is we only have 2 more nights that the temp will be below freezing for the same 10 days.
I have been rather busy for the past 3 days. We were without power for 26 hours. Propane held out and didn't use as much as I thought I would but the tank is now full so no more concern there.
Friday morning I did go to walmart and pick up the 10 2 cu ft backs of potting soil I had ordered. Got home just in time for it to start snowing so didn't unload then. Since it was snowing I decided to start cooking. Since Friday afternoon I have made meatballs in sauce, lasagna for the freezer, 2 batches of fresh pasta, 2 loaves of French Bread, thousand island dressing, and a cheese and garlic butter for garlic bread. However before I started cooking I did a major cleaning of the counter top. Just a lot of stuff that had to be put away so I had room to work.
We ended up with 4 1/2" of snow overnight Friday night. I got lazy and didn't snow blow however. Decided if Mother Nature put it there she could also melt it off. About an inch is still here on top of all that hadn't melted previously.
Today I have been watering but that is an everyday job. When I get off of here I need to get my kitchen back in order again. Need to empty the dishwasher and get it filled again. I am very good at creating a mess when I cook. I still have a little pasta dough to roll out and cut and one more salad dressing to make and I think I will be done stocking the freezers and refrigerator for a while.
I do need to clean through the house today. With Annabelle not being here I am afraid vacuuming and picking up has been neglected. I get my baby back tomorrow. Can't wait to give her a big squeeze and just maybe get a kiss from her.
Later today I plan to get to town for a couple of groceries and stop to see DD. It is her's and DSoIL's 30th anniversary today.
Lori, glad you liked the ranch dressing. That is the one I need to make today.
Sorry but no time to remark to everyone today.
Have a great day.
Bet

Good morning friends. Just hung up the phone for afternoon subbing in VE Pre-K today. Should be an easy afternoon as we will go to lunch when I get there, nap, snack, and out to the buses for dismissal.
Got a bike ride in early and all my ironing done. Looks like dinner will be one of our favorites--roasted tomato pasta with a side salad.
Take care and have a nice day everyone.
Lori

Good morning. I scared Louie this morning so he is hiding. I set off the smoke detector. I was boiling potatoes and eggs for potato salad. The steam from it set it off. Hopefully Louie comes out in an hour when it's time for his insulin.
Kick-off it does sound like an easy afternoon, lol if the kids take their naps.lol.
Jay-Z That is a long time to be without elwctricity, glad the propane held out but the guy must of made it there as I know you said it was low
Never-ending it is going to be hot here today also suppose to be 95°>
Elza- thank you for starting us this morning.
Tamara- I will take a cookie to go with my coffee.I
Nancy- so are you counting down the days yet?
I better get dressed and get on with my day. Have a good one.Elaine

Been to bone bender today and got some groceries and forgot 2 items so will have to go back ! I am having company Thursday night. It is Mark's B-day on Friday so invited Troy and wife and Mark and Kim. Troy has been here several times to measure my rooms as that is where I bought my kitchen rug and now my carpets. He came out with Mark to help move things when I was having the carpet put down. At one time he went with DH cousins girl. So we always laugh about those days. I am just fixing roast and veggies and potatoes in oven will have 2 salads, and pie and ice cream for dessert and homemade buns. Simple food and hope it will be good.
See Jeff has been here sitting up auger and will take his beans out of the bin to sell. Hope the weather is nicer the day they will do that. We had icy roads this morning so I took gravel roads all way to town today. I seen the phesants come flying back in my pine trees this afternoon. Can warm up anytime. They say Wed. will be in the 70's then colder the week-end???
Have a great day everyone! Marlene

Hope your dryer was delivered as promised Nancy.
Did your weather improve Elza? We found it to be fairly cool in Hilton Head this year, most of the time we were there. It didn't stop us from doing anything other than a couple of wet days. I never had a coat on the whole time we were there - and that's a good thing 🙂
Glad to see that your daughter is feeling better Betsy.
72 and gloomy? - I could probably handle that Tammy. Glad you feel better too.
Bet, you sure have been busy. Enjoy having Annabelle again tomorrow!
Hope it was a peaceful afternoon Lori 😊
95 is hot Elaine - did Louie come out of hiding?
Marlene, your dinner guests are in for a good meal on Thursday. Is the bone bender still working for you?
Hope your new recipe works out tonight Ann.
Helen, hope you can get a haircut tomorrow. I have an appointment to get mine done one day next week.
Hope you sleep tonight Chris. I'm sleeping much better again now that I'm back in my own bed 😊
Had a busy day. Went shopping over on the mainland as our canning group has already started for this year and this week we are making mincemeat (ready for November) and I wanted to by the fruit at the bulk store. Filled up all the birdfeeders when I got back and then tackled mum's banking.
We had cod for supper this evening.
