Helen, big hugs coming your way, my friend.
Seems lots of 'busy-ness' going on today.
Tammy - is it you or hubby who is the big fan of covered bridges? They are lovely and have lots of character.
We took advantage again of nice weather and got another round of golf in. It was pretty tiring out there today so we opted to have supper out. Went to a BBQ place and it was so good. Made a nice change.
Elza, your shopping sounds so organized. I guess I used to do the same kind of thing but being retired, if it doesn't get done today, there's always tomorrow. I know life may not always be so easy for us, but I'm enjoying it while I can.
Hugs to all who may want them.

Good Evening ! I just caught up on all the posts.
Hugs to everyone who could use one!
We had such a nice evening with our friend and her DH. She is divorced from her first DH who we knew back 30 years ago. Now she has remarried and he is very nice. And she does work at the Hanover campus of Dartmouth! It was fun talking over old times and about when we all lived in Holland together. And I found out that one of our mutual friends, whom I lost touch with is still around! She had some serious health issues, and then I lost all contact with her, so I was concerned that maybe she had passed but I found out she is ok, she lives with one of her DS's now. Donna is going to get me her new phone #.
The rain came while we were out this morning but just barely. When we finished with the oil change, we stopped by a thrift store that was supposed to open at 10. they had a sign on the door they would open at noon. So, we went to a nearby pizza place and shared a meat lover's pizza. It was a local place not a chain. and the pizza was great. When we finished the shop had opened. We left there and drove down to Plymouth where we stopped by Walmart and I got my nails done-finally. After that we came home. It was not raining but it was quite cloudy, so we did not go sight see. We did find one covered bridge today! I like them a lot but my DH loves them!!
Tomorrow will be our last day to see things in this part of the state. We'll leave Friday and head south.
I forgot to mention that the day we went to the south route in the White Mts, we drove by Squam Lake which was where On Golden Pond was filmed. Or at least it was the inspiration for the film. A few of the shops and motels there are called names like "The Inn on Golden Pond".
I will say a prayer that we all sleep well this night!

Good evening all.
I am so late today. I will go back and read posts but hope everyone is well. Dinner was breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. It's been one of those days....
Good night all.
