Early spring I bought a Frensham Geranium...(Fine Herb). This is a lemony plant that is supposed to repel mosquitos. I felt sorry for it indoors so I placed it on the patio table. When you rub the leaves together....talk about a wonderful lemony scent coming out of it. I wonder if you can dry the leaves for either lemon seasoning or for tea.
Does anyone know this plant, and how to use it to the maximum. It is an annual here. Thanks!

Sorry, Stella. I never heard of it so I'm no help.

Gayle, I'll try to post a picture of the plant. Maybe it goes by another name in your area.
Remember, we are a French province here, and often terms are not the same as in the rest of Canada, nor the USA.

Wow Gayle, you were quick on that one. Thank you! I'll take a picture of my plant, and when it's time to use the leaves I now will be able to do so as per the site you inserted in your last post.....I'm sure it will be delicious in iced tea as well....hurrah!

Stella does it look like this plant in the back of the pot? It's a lemony smelling geranium . Just wondered if it's like the one you have. I'm going to overwinter mine .

There are so many varieties of Geraniums, mine is Scented Geranium, and looks very similar to Flowerpowers, but during the Spring I went to a nice Botanical Garden, and they grow different ones, DFF bought a couple of nice ones

I got a lemon scented geranium earlier this year and it also smells wonderful when you rub the leaves. I probably won't take a picture because it has drowned this summer and not looking so hot. Charlene
