Sandy, that is a Monarch Cat in Charlene's picture. They evolve into beautiful butterflies. They don't hurt anything & they only eat milkweed plants which recover quite nicely. I thought I posted here but guess not. Coneflower

Gayle-I believe Sandy meant the red milkweed bugs. Pretty sure she knows what a monarch cat is! Lol!

Oops, I missed those.
Charlene, you said 3 reasons you like Milkweed. Why do you like those bugs? BTW, I've never seen them before

I have wanted to compliment Mary Lynn on her fence and the hanging baskets. They are not only very attractive but also amazing that you made it yourself. Good Job!

Yes...my 2nd picture is red milkweed bugs. They are not harmful to the plant...or at least as far as I know. I just thought they were something that go hand in hand with growing milkweed.....am I wrong? Charlene

Ili... Your Mexican petunias are some really pretty flowers. That morning glory is also beautiful.
Donna... That is a nice big plant with some pretty blooms. The yellow does look good with the dark foliage.
Marnee... Those flowers at your neighbors are pretty but not sure I know what they are. We always welcome bird pictures such as your scrub jay.
Melissa... That flower with the big name is really doing well and its a beauty. I'm not tired of your vacation pictures. You have been posting some gorgeous scenery like the ones today.
Mary Mich... What a nice fence. You really done a great job on that fence. I could use you around here helping me build some things.
Charlene... Those are some nice pictures coming form your tropical milkweed. I love seeing monarchs and their caterpillars. Not sure what those red bugs are but I have a feeling they would make some good chicken food lol. Now speaking of flowers and plants with big names :-) thats a pretty flower as long as I don't have to attempt to say the name.
Lair... I love your zinnia picture. Seeing your zinnia pictures from the last couple days next year I'm going to put a lot more zinnias in a bed and much closer. Yours look great.
Sandy... Glad you stopped in. Well I can say Charlene's bugs are a bright color.
Marg... Yes we do have some nice pictures here today. Glad you got to enjoy them with us.
Gayle... Thats a nice looking coneflower. I bet you get quiet a few butterflies visiting those beauties.
Thanks everyone for todays great pictures and comments.
