Good Morning, We are having a peak of the sun, I'm trying not to scare it away. I did shake all the kitchen rugs and I could feel a snow flake, its 33 and our high is to be 35. Wow the guessers last night were really doing the scare tactics. Snow is coming, it won't hit us, but I think Mary/M will see lots more then us. Saying 6 plus inches Friday, of course its the day after Thanksgiving. We won't get that much, as its lake effect. I'm going to clean the kitchen and sunporch floor this morning then I'm not sure. Will keep busy. Yesterday I did order the tires, can't get them on until a week from Thanksgivng but at least I ordered and make a appointment. Was home pretty early but my eyes were bothering me so I put some drops in and laid down for a few. Got a easy supper, then I make some tags out for the booth. Did the dishes, and then I tackled moving summer clothes out of the closet and winter went in. I shouldn't of done that, as I couldn't get to sleep, I was up at 1 eating a small bite. Finally sleep came, no wonder I slept until 8 this morning.
I will be right back.

The sun is coming and going, but I do see some blue in the sky and that is so welcomed.
Carolyn, You are having some nice temperatures, 54 is great. Funny how those DGK grow so darn fast, but that means we get older. I bet you are counting the days for the MRI.
Lair, A Dr. call, I didn't think any Drs, did home visit anymore. Anything new for you?
Leroy, Keeping my fingers crossed you make it to DS for Thanksgiving. I bet Kriston will be thrilled with what you found with your search.
Mary, We only have to deal with the leaves once this year, it has been so windy, most of them flew away, have a few here and there, but they will be gone today, its very windy. I'm not sure what fungus gnats are, but you have it all under control now.
Connie, Most of your shopping done, hats off to you. Have a good day.
Guess I put off the kitchen floor long enough time to get it done.

Good morning everyone. I’m still here. Bit of a setback few days ago, but I’m learning to deal with it. Feeling much better but don’t think I’ll get much of a chance to ‘over-do’ as I’ve been doing lately. Have to learn to take it easy. Carol, it’s 21* here at 6:45, going up to a high of 28*. Still have some snow on ground but no more predicted for the next few days. Lair, no doctors make house calls here. Is this doctor connected to the hospice service you are getting? They sure take good care of you. Off to the bank, then a doctor appointment this morning, just a follow up. Take care everybody. I’ll be back to read later. Jan

It is colder today. 44 right now. Overcast and looks rainy. Guess it rained last night but I slept through it . Baby came and visited about 45 minutes. As you know I enjoy the times I get to see him. :) I dread the MRI but then I am scared n nervous to go to doctors. I put some canned turnip greens in one of the little crockpots. I have 2 little ones and one larger one. I sure like them , easy cleanup. Do any of you eat turnip greens? Hope all of you are feeling well. Take care.

Good morning. 31, going to 36, with cloudy changing to partly cloudy, it says. I looked again, and no sun today.
PT today. Wearing long pants and jacket. Wasn't sure because I had a little nosebleed at breakfast. Seems to have stopped now.
Well, tennis is all repeats now, so won't be watching that till January, then it starts all over again. I worked a lot on Kriston's family tree. I'm sure she will be surprised - hope she's there today.
Hope you all have a good day.
Leroy

Good Morning!! The sub is out and it looks like a great day. I am not moving so fast this morning. I had a hospice worker that was here. He did a quick sweep through the house. He also wiped out the tub and took the recycling to the garage, Now the back bedroom is almost ready for Dale. I talked to him last night and he is coming up on Wed. night. My nurse was here this morning and everything is just fine except the infection is not responding as well as they had hoped. They are having a meeting this afternoon to see if they are changing medication. I hope they make it stronger if that would make it go away faster, but who knows. The man was here yesterday and installed a remote detector on my sleep machine. That way nobody has to come here and watch me sleep. I think it is mostly working better if I didn't have to get up every hour at night. I guess I will start making some dishes to serve on Thursday, Maybe I should just take it easy one more day. I just got a phone call from the technician and she is making the trip to come and see me from Nebraska on Friday. That way she can see exactly what it is doing wrong and fix it. Well I should get moving and wish you all a good day.

Checking in. Called to make a chiropractor appt. before I even came downstairs. We went to breakfast and came home. I went to chiro appt. at 11:45. Hubby dropped me off, and was there to pick me up again. We came home again and sat for a while. We had a 1:00 appt. to sign papers for our new wills. Then had to take the medical power of attorney papers to the clinic and hospital, so those were all copied and are now on record. Then went down and got my meds and came home. Way too much wasted time in between things, but at least they're now done.
I see both of the big buds on my waxed amaryllis bulb are starting to open. Yeah, they wait until I leave home for 4 days to start blooming.
I'm gonna put supper in the oven now.

A late good evening. VA was slow today...only had 6 surgeries but I got all checked in before I left. Took the cookies and they are always appreciated...a couple bags of cookies for a couple special people. Got a potholder done to complete a pair. The schedule for tomorrow is only 4 surgeries so I gave myself the day off to prepare thanksgiving dishes. Took the baby things to the Bethlehem house and came on home. Tried to get an appt for a perm but no time available. Had a short chair nap as I did not get to sleep last night until after midnight! Then went to the store for the last minute items I need for thanksgiving food....no canned oysters so need to look elsewhere tomorrow...they were out of Celery too.
Lair, glad your friend is coming up for Thanksgiving...enjoy the day!
Carolyn, I always thought turnip greens were the best ones. I used to have a garden where I could grow my own and would slip some of the small turnips in with the greens. Wish I still could grow some.
Jan, hope you are feeling up to snuff real soon!
Off to bed to get some sleep!
