Marnee, what are the names of your 2 roses? I am a rose person and those are gorgeous. Thanks. Linda, I have no idea on the name of my roses. My mother planted them about 45 years ago. She actually planted a row of roses on the east side of my property and that’s the only rose bush left. It is actually in a very neglected area, so it doesn’t get much attention. The last couple of years, I’ve been trimming it way back as it’s growing over and into the rhododendron bush. The pictures are from the same rosebush in the last year or so I haven’t really seen a lot of blooms as I think I may have gotten carried away trimming.

Marnee, we had over 200 mini roses at our old house. Sean McCann, the Iris rosarian used to send me cuttings…I would root them and enjoyed them so much until the drought set in here. We also loved the David Austin roses. This spring I am on the list for an oldie but fragrant red rose to plant here at the cottage…Rose deRescht. Really miss our yard. Love those 2 roses of yours and just want a whiff of them!
