Good morning! It's raining; it's pouring again this morning! So glad!
Unless she decides not to drive in this mess, my former neighbor, Yisel, will visit for lunch today. She just came back from visiting her brother in Switzerland so it will be fun to hear about her trip. Don't know what we will have for dinner tonight...maybe some shrimp that I will make into a stir-fry with ingredients ordered.
Yesterday's exercise class was good until the leader decided to lead us into a 'fun' activity...on yoga mats on the floor! Nope, nada, just NO! I stuck to the adapted chair moves. Bill, bless him, got on the floor. Used my chair to get up after the exercise. Next week there will be limited exercise classes. We can still go to the gym.

Ann, you wouldn't like my job too well if you don't sit on the floor. I spent a lot of time sitting on the floor in the middle of stores to work on the lower shelves. The wonderful sight of me getting back up isn't pretty but better than the back ache from bending over. Hope you neighbor can make it for lunch. I am sure you 2 have a lot of catching up to do.

I am on a roll this morning. I have changed 4 light bulbs in my bathroom and put up a small battery operated light in there for when the power goes off as the circuit isn't connected to the generator. Also put up 2 of the same lights under the kitchen cabinets in a couple of dark corners over the counter top. A few years ago I put up 3 2' lights under the rest of the cabinets. I have started a batch of french bread. Just waiting for the milk to cool to get that mixed up. Then I have to get the leftover turkey packaged up and in the freezer before it spoils and have rolls to get into the freezer. Sometime today I have 4 jobs to do locally and go to Annabelle's birthday party at some point. I also plan on continuing on my clean mode.

Yep I'm early. I woke up at 4:30 and could not fall back to sleep. Yesterday I got the results of my last x-rays on my left foot. Arthritis in the big toe and the top of the foot. Just what I thought. What I don't understand is why do I need an MRI of the x-rays showed what was wrong with my foot???
Oh, Good morning everyone.
Today I will start on the roll out butter cookies. I won't be able to finish all of that process but I still have plenty of time. As per our tradition we don't eat any of the Christmas cookies until after Thanksgiving. And as long as I am done by the time Lincoln gets here I'll be happy. And so will he. Nothing else planned, The cookies will be more than enough for one day.

DH is at the office, grading, which is a constant at this point in the semester. I'm getting laundry done and our bed made before I leave for an errand in Greenville. Checked with niece-in-law to see if I can connect with her while I'm there, just in case. If not, I'll come back here and do some grocery shopping before DS1 arrives.
Ann, I love that you can do the yoga seated as well as on the floor. I'm like Bet, I can get on the floor -- and I try to, at least a few times a week, to do back exercises -- but getting back up is not graceful!
Mamma, reading about your cookie baking makes me happy. It takes the pressure off when you're not under a time crunch and can just enjoy the process.
Our gourmet dinner tonight will be hot dogs and chips since that's what we have on hand, and we keep meals pretty easy on weekends. I'm going to pick up a roast to cook in the crockpot on Monday, though, with potatoes, onions, and carrots.

Good afternoon. It has been a busy morning so I didn't get to see Annabelle before here guests arrived for her birthday party. The party is over at 3 so I will get there about 2:30. I have made the dough for both French Bread and a soft White Bread. Both have done there first rise in the oven and now are in the refrigerator for the second rise and I can bake them late this afternoon or tomorrow morning. After the first bread dough was done I did some research on you tube about my mixer. There is a pin that started coming out about 5 years ago when i made bread so I had it wrapped in duct tape to help hold the pin in. I think I found why it was doing it so I spend a lot of time getting the tape and the glue off the mixer and made the necessary adjustment. Then I decided the mixer needed a good cleaning all over. It actually shines now. Made the second batch of dough and it worked just fine. Cleaned up the kitchen from the bread making and got all the leftover turkey into the freezer. Had a few of my oil, vinegar or wine bottles that were empty and cleaned so I got them filled. Had no garlic oil so just finished steeping that. I still need to get the leftover rolls packaged up and in the freezers. I am hoping to start cleaning the bat cave after I go to work and go to see Annabelle. Yesterday when I got home from work I did get my new garden wagon put together. I loaded it twice with stuff that was on the side porch from the greenhouse and got that stuff to the garage and shop and mostly put away. Still have 2 small potting tables and a few other things to move. Also the display from work is now in the shop but not put together. I will get that done and it will take up less room. I want to get all of next weeks work done by Wednesday night so I have the 4 days off. That way I should be able to get a lot done around here both inside and out.
Mamma, you beat me by half an hour on the time I got up but that is my time most everyday. Hope with the x-ray they can now proceed to give you some relief for your foot. I think the MRI shows more things that an x-ray. You are doing great on your cookie making. I am thinking of making some cookies just to have the dough in the freezer to slice a few off when I am in the mood. But no Christmas Cookies.
Elza, I think hotdogs are very gourmet. I have them often. In fact I was very happy to see my brand go on sale as I was getting low. When does the semester end for DH? I am sure you can't wait for DS1 to get there tonight. Nice long visit for a change.
Back to work as I need to be out of here in an hour if I am going to get to DD's to see Annabelle by 2:30.

Happy Birthday Elaine!! I hope it is a fabulous day for you.
It was a good day at the shop. It was sunny and warm all day. Do you all know what a lampberger is? I bought 3 mini ones with scented oils for each of my DIL. I guess you'd call it something similar to burning incense.
As far as supper goes-I can't remember what I had thought of for supper, but never thawed anything, so we will do some breakfast food. I have a ham slab, some eggs and some frozen hash browns.
Tonight I am hoping to make homemade noodles, and homemade rolls.
I am thawing the pecan pie for church tomorrow. I'll do my dressing when I get up in the morning. The bread and cornbread is dried, so just need to add celery, onion, broth and seasoning
The pot luck went well last night. It was nice just to eat and visit.

Good night friends. I had a great day. Thanks for the birthday wishes.
I didn't get up until 9 and then Coco and I went for her walk. At 11am a friend hosted 12 of us at a buffet place for my birthday. We had red velvet cake for dessert.
Then I played cards.
For supper we had pizza.
Now, I'm watching football and having a drink.
