Good morning. 24, going to 44, with partly sunny sky. No rain or snow here.
Had the weirdest dream last night, I was working in a flower shop again. Came in to work, an first thing, the boss yelled at me. Apparently, I had under charged a group $14.00 on hamburgers!. I have never worked at a flower shop that served food! Woke me up, and I stewed about being yelled at. Finally went back to sleep.
I've got PT today. For sure, the long pants and jacket get put on. At least, the wind has died down. Adam went to the store yesterday, so we are all stocked up again. Can you eat potatoes that have sprouted? He said he heard they would not taste good, so he didn't use some that had sprouted.
Lair, glad you are all snug again. Warm is good sometimes.
Carol, hope you get the doors taken care of.
Jan, lucky you to have your Christmas shopping done.
Carolyn, wish your pain would get taken care of sooner rather than later.
Mary, must be taking Hudson a little longer to process everything. I remember taking Adam to a funeral for my aunt. He was pretty young, and while we were sitting there waiting for the Mass to begin, a woman started singing. He leaned over and said "Is that Mary?"
I hope you all have a good day.
Leroy

Good Morning!! Broken record, another cloudy morning, no sun today. Its 40 going to 45. I do think today I will try and dig some bulbs, they have to come out and dry, but darn, not sure where I will dry them. If I only do one at a time, come in and get warm, then back out. I'm going to get them dug today. Some are in pots others in the ground. I also need to take the 20# turkey out of the freezer, but I need Rays help. The new doors that didn't fit as very close to the freezer, (in the garage). I think I can get it but will have to hand it to Ray. The doors will be going back tomorrow, I hope. I will be cleaning also getting more things done for Thanksgiving. After getting the hair cut next stop was the booth, then I called for pizza. New cook lousy pizza too spicy for me. Not much got done after that. I had a busy day.
Leroy, Agree shorts are done for this year. But I did see a gal with shorts and crocks no coat. This was at the Dr. office. Funny dream, hamburgers, what we don't dream.
Carolyn, When making veg.soup, do you use fresh or frozen vegetables? Maybe you should try 25 steps and work up to 100. Don't over do.
Lair, Ray has the same problem with thin skin. I'm always asking where did that blood come from. I so glad the furnace is working good.
Jan, Sounds like a wonderful time with DD. Great find on the donut pans. Do you wrap things or use bags?
Mary, How is the neck today? Its ok to let the tears flow, sending a hug to you.
Cat is on my lap and I guess I did ok, not many mistakes. bye for now

Good Morning to you all.
Carol, The neck is somewhat better. I don't think I'm 100% yet, but not bouncing off walls either. Hudson is just so little to have to deal with this. I really don't think he understands that Valerie isn't coming back. She was cremated so he didn't see her in a casket. He only saw her at the hospice house, looking like she was sleeping after the nurses had cleaned her up. I don't know how much Bryan and Julie explained to him. Maybe I should look for a book to give him for Christmas. I really don't know how you explain this situation to a cancer child, but then again, I don't think he really understands that either. Two years ago today was when he was first diagnosed with leukemia, and that he's been in treatment. So today we begin year 3. He has to make it through 3 yrs. of treatment, but I don't know from when that time started. They found no cancer right before Christmas of 2022. He's such a sweetheart most of the time.
Leroy, Wow, that was a weird dream. I hope you have a great day at therapy. Mobility is your key to getting back some of your independence.
Well, breakfast is calling.

Good Morning. It is overcast and cold here today. The wind is not as bad as yesterday but still cold. I am not sure what we are to get the rest of the day but I know that the middle of next week it will be a high of 20 degrees. Sure glad I have the furnace. It seems to throw out more heat than the old one did. I am going to clean out the freezer this morning and throw the expired things out. The gal from Hospice will be bringing my grocery order around noon. I just looked at the clock and see I should get busy. That time is almost here. I wonder where my morning went. I was up real early but just have not made good use of my time., You all have a good day.

Aha, I made it here in the day time for a change. Got up had my coffee then got my shower done. I still need a few more ornaments for two that are hard to buy for. I also am going to the SVdP & see if perchance the large glass bowl is still there. If so I can put the cranberry fluff in it and leave the bowl...one of the kids or grands can take it home and keep the bowl.
Leroy, hope the PT is good going for you today!
Lair, wonderful that the furnace may be putting out more heat.
Jeopardy time so now I have to run!
Forgot to say, the neighbors roof had frost all over it this morning so I presume we got our first killing frost...all the trees are pretty much bare except the mulberry and it is well on it's way to bare. Me thinks winter is headed our way!
I did find the rest of the ornaments that I needed so that is another check mark. The bowl was still there but that color tag was no longer on sale so I passed on the bowls I have plenty, just thought one of the family could gain a bowl.
