Carolyn, Let us know what he says and I hope you aren't advised to have surgery. I hope there is something else to consider. Also, hoping Connie gets encouraging advice from her kidney Dr. M jn m

Good Morning, Another cloudy morning and cooler then it has been. Its 38 going to about 46 and I hope without the wind. Yesterday it was bitter cold with the wind. I changed our plans for today so we shouldn't be that busy. I rec'd a phone call yesterday while eating lunch it was from Mike at the booth, we sold a big corner shelf, good news. So today we need to take something up to put in that space, no problem, we have 3 tables we can take. So we will go into GR Thursday, not so much to do today. I was up at a decent time, I have been busy throwing things away, nothing that Ray will miss. Jerry send me a text, get your freezer ready for some pork, I did throw some things away thats in the freezer, so I now have room, it was old stuff. I keep telling Ray, we don't eat like we did when the kids were here. Yesterday he did over buy again, so I got some shelves cleaned out also, one dated back to 2017. It was hiding in the back. I feel pretty good about what I have done this morning.
Leroy, I didn't know QVC sold food, but then again I don't watch very often.
Jan, You are so organized. I would forget about pre-ingredients and re-do them.
Carolyn, Today is the new dr. day. We all are waiting for the news.
Lair, Keeping my fingers crossed the furnace will get installed this week. So hard to find a business that has enough employees to do the job. Soup is good for supper. How many vacuums do you use? I have watched "Ghost" a few times.
Mary, Thats a lot of amaryllis, I have none, lost them years ago. I have 7 geranium sitting in the garage, I'm not sure what I will do with them. I have way too many plants now.
M/M, I enjoyed your story on the wax, we need the humor. I must of missed something on Connie. guess I need to go back and read.
bye for now. Wow lots posted while I was busy typing,

I checked on the 6 plants I transplanted yesterday, and all were good but the peace lily. It was so wilted. W? I pulled it out of the pot, and it was bone dry. I put it into its own pot and watered it. Hopefully it will perk up. The other 5 all looked good. Update: 6:30, I checked on the peace plant and it is all perked back upright. Whew, good thing I went down there today or it would have been dead. I watched some videos on making cuffs on that cocoon cardigan. I know how to do it, I just need to figure out how long I want them. I set up a card table in the living room to start writing out the 'Thank You' notes. This is hard but it has to be done. I just need to get organized. I hope everyone did okay at their appts. today. Carol, Remember those geraniums I found up at the yard waste dump? Here are my 'trash to treasure' plants. These are the ones I transplanted yesterday from the funeral pot. The peace lily was all wilted so I didn't include it. My different colors of holiday cactus. My Crown of Thorns needs a new pot, but those thorns are going to be a challenge. Can't forget the 'Littles', baby, toddler, juvenile amaryllis bulbs. I don't know if they'll ever bloom.

Good Afternoon. I have been busy today. All that I have got done you cold put in a pocket but I keep trying. Everything seems to take so long with this old man doing it. I got most things done around the house but without sunshine it doesn't look as nice ass if the sun were out. I had 2 people here from Hospice coming to talk to me. Amanda from Hospice showed me how to get on computer and shop for groceries. It took a while but I have it finished. I just have to get back on there and fill out when they will pick it up. The man from the furnace called and said it looks like they will be here to install on Thursday. That will be a load off my mind when that whole thing is behind me. The house will be warm and no space heaters to worry about Don't want a cat tipping one of them over and start a fire. Tomorrow Joe will come and clean in the morning. Later Amanda will come again and I can finish my grocery list and pick up. Early afternoon the supervisor of Hospice is coming to discuss how things are going for me and what we can change. Then Thursday the furnace(I hope) installers. I guess I need to figure out what else needs to be done. I am sure a lot of things will be on that list. I hope you all are doing well. Enjoy today and I'll be back tomorrrow but late again.

This has been a long day...I got about 4 hr sleep last night...been awake since 2:30 AM. I got about 10-12 items of clothing at Goodwill yesterday and finally have all but two pieces washed and they are drying. What a moron I am...most of what I got is cold water wash or has to be laid flat to dry...for me that means they go on a hanger with some clothespins to hold them in place....no way do I have enuf flat area to lay them out. I will be going to bed by 7, I hope.
The insurance guy came today and explained that the Medicare plan we have will be the same and will renew with what we had but the name will change a bit. I am happy with that! They keep saying on TV that our plan will be going away...I think they just like to put the scare in you! The other thing they have is a dental plan but I already have one thru my previous employer.
Maryinmichigan, the kidney doc was pretty positive about my kidneys...tests were ok. He want to see me again in 6 months. He also gave me a couple compliments that made me feel good...first he said I don't look 84 and then he said my memory for my age was good....I might differ with him on both things, but it was nice to hear that.
I have to see my PA tomorrow and get a recheck on my Thyroid....must have been a little high.
Lair, I bet Thursday cannot come soon enough for you. I will be glad when you get the new furnace and hope you still have your arm and leg when they have given you the bill!
Hello to everyone else as I am taking this old lady to bed shortly...5 AM comes early these days!
