Good evening, friends.
We had some beautiful weather today, so around 11 this morning we decided to go over to the post office and then drop off our early voting ballots. From there we got on the highway and drove to an Italian eatery and market we saw a segment on TV. Ended up buying a slice of pizza each for a late lunch so not sure if we'll be in the mood for much for dinner---might be a snack night. Our purpose of going to this market was to see if they had dried cranberry beans (borlotti), which they did. I have been looking for fresh or dried beans for years without luck in our grocery stores, so this was a great find. I am planning to make a soup with some of the beans.
Exciting news for the neighborhood---all of our debris were picked up last night at 7PM. It was dark and not sure how well a job they could do being so, but checking this morning, they did a nice job. Glad it did not run into the 3–4-month time slot we originally were informed for the pick-up.
We were to get a package delivered tomorrow, but Amazon sent a message that it was delivered today by FedEx. After checking and finding nothing on the porch nor in the bushes, we called Amazon that believes the package was delivered to the wrong house. Ugh! They credited the account and now we'll need to reorder. Hope they do better tomorrow when I have another package that is coming FedEx.
Birdy, meant to mention earlier that your new frames sound really nice! I am in need of new frames, and you've got me thinking that I need to step out of my usual box and boldly go with something with a bit more color.
The drive has tired me out so I will close for today. Waving to all!
