Good Morning, The sun is out and its 64* and not going much higher today, and no humidity. Glad that humidity is gone for a few day and just maybe things will dry out. No plans for today other then relax and just maybe go and fill up the gas cans. Gas is pretty low down in a town I went thru yesterday and only 6 miles. In this town only 4 gas stations so always the cheapest around. We usually get gas in the town where I get groceries. Yesterday was a fun day other then the rain. I went with DSIL and his Mother, its about a hour & half drive. It only rained for the riding class which you really like it to be dry. No storms, Brian was on his phone watching the radar. We were at Michigan State University and a plan was in place for storms. I did call Ray and let him know we were safe and wondering about him. Kaylee got 2 seconds and one fourth in her age group. We were happy, she didn't place in her riding classes which is very unusal. But its sometimes the judges. they only like certain breeds of horses, and no quarter horses were placed. But that is how it goes.
Lair, I so don't like computer problems, we have a person we can call so is pretty cheap, but we do have a contract with Best Buy, but we always have to drive into GR and drop it off and go and get in a couple of days. I use my tablet a lot, but can't type real good with it.
Janet, I agree the older I get the faster time goes. I hope the cold month go as fast.
Grace, Are you online this morning? If we don't hear from you will know your computer isn't working.
Leroy I just don't think we should have to pay sales tax on a used car, it was paid when it was sold new. But I know that's the law. Yes I guessing you will be busy with all the holidays coming.
Mary, That's too bad so many events were cancelled because of the rain. When we wanted rain we couldn't get it. That's what we said at the horse show why does it have to rain today. I see fox around here but that's pretty strange you see them in town.
Alma, Good morning and glad you found your way in.
Angela Yes Lair did a good job of opening, I really don't need to open every day, but on more in the morning then afternoon.
Snow, Glad to hear you are relaxing and enjoying yourself. Yard work, etc will wait until you get back, don't think about it. Cute picture of Jade and he is enjoying also.
Jan, Glad you checked in and enjoyed your supper.
Well that's it for now, and hope I didn't miss anyone.

Sorry Mary in Michgan. I do think Carol Johnson was only on backyard. I see she is on Facebook now with a group. Lots of storms around here, and damage, but everyone seems to be safe.

Good morning, Carol. It's sunny and I think it's going to be fairly warm.
When I let the dog out last night, there was s much smoke in the air. Of course, it came in. I sprayed Fabreze all over, and that took care of it. It was there yet early in the morning, but it's gone now. Was beginning to think we were getting smoke from fires somewhere, but guess it muct have been the neighbor's fireplace. It was fairly cool last night.
Finally got the apple tree suckers cut down yesterday. It was really nice outside for a change. Looks so much better around the tree. Have to bundle the twigs and branches for pickup Thursday morning.
Have to go to the grocery store in a while. Aldi's doesn't open till 10 on Sunday. The Kroger outlet here (Baker's) is open already, so I can go there first.
Have a good day.
Leroy

Good Morning, This will be short this morning. I don't want a headache like I got yesterday. The problem is on the laptop the keyboard and the screen are 3" apart. The screen is very bright and the keyboard is all black and trying to look at both plays tricks with my eyes. Well, I never thought 2 days ago when I was setting up 2 fans to blow on my bed I would need to get up and get a blanket last night. It is 57* this morning under sunny skies. I have checked the forecast and we only have 1 day with temps over 80*. Sounds like fall to me. I guess we will have to wait and see. Didn't do anything yesterday except took in my tower to have the stuff moved. It should be done today so waiting for a call. The tech told me I was sure lucky, seems someone made a mistake when they posted it on the internet. When they took the price and reduced it by $50 they accidentally hit the 2 button and made it $250 lower. I was corrected after my purchase. I couldn't believe the new tower. It isn't any larger than a shoe box. About the size of my first calculator. Now I will have a lot of free space on my desk. It also comes with wireless keyboard and mouse. The tech was amazed I was still using my computer. He looked it up and found I bought it on Jan 7, 2006. Long time so I hope I can learn the new one. Tim says I won't have any trouble but we will see.
No plans for today other than the computer. Will just take it easy and rest up for a hectic week. Tim has a rough week ahead with both chemo pump and radiation 5 days in a row. Well, My eyes are starting to dance so I should get off. Carol, glad you had a fun day. I'll have to go back and read yesterday so I'll be back. You all have a good day.

Good Morning again, I am back trying something to see if it works. and it does. I plugged in my old keyboard so I can type on something away from the light. When I put the two keyboard close to each other I understand why I have so much trouble with the lap top. The key board is at least 3 inches longer than the laptop. I had been thinking I was loosing it and not able to type anymore. What a relief to find out I just have big fingers. Well, I'm going to move somethings around here and get comfortable. Be back. Lair

Morning everyone. Well, it's sweatshirt weather here this morning. Hard to believe yesterday was warm and very humid and today only in the low 50's but I'll gladly pull out a sweatshirt and wear until/when it warms up today. Going to be 70's next week. It feels like fall is in the air.
Lair how lucky you found a new tower. My pc is dying a slow death as well. I think I also bought this in 2006 but I do have Windows 7 on mine. Ds helped me copy all my pics onto an external hard drive so they are safe, I don't really keep much else on here so when it finally shuts itself down for good, I guess it'll just be a matter of finding another pc. I've gotten the blue screen and it shuts down but then comes back up again so I'm just plugging along. Did look at a couple pc's at the store but not much to choose from, I think a lot of stuff was gone because of the start of the school year.
Leroy enjoy your "new to you" car. I still don't know all the bells and whistles on mine and it's many years old.
Yes Carol Johnson was on backyard and posted a lot on the picture post when Sharon Sheron had it. Carol would always post a picture of her dog Starla, and other things. She still has a FB page for just Starla that can be accessed without signing in to FB.
It's cool enough now I have all the makings for lasagne and this just might be the day to make it. I always make it ahead, divide it up, freeze it and then take out what we need. Always tastes better later anyway, just like pasta sauce.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Hi Everyone, We've been to church and stopped for dinner at 11. DH asked if I wanted to stop at Sandy's Cafe for dinner; you know I'm not gonna ever say no. We barely sat down in our booth and DH's phone rang. Sadly, it was the call DH has been dreading. His friend passed away during the night. He went up to see him early evening yesterday, and the family was waiting for the nurse to arrive to give him extra pain meds. They knew it wouldn't be long. DH isn't saying much, but I can tell it's really bothering him. I'm gonna coral him when I think the time is right and make him talk this out. He's trying to hold it all in check, and that's the worst thing he could be doing. He needs to break down and let the tears flow. Even though things happened years ago that split their friendship apart, they did make amends and have been talking in the last few years, but it was never the same. This guy was the Best Man at our wedding, so you know how close they WERE. I think this guy was truly a 'brother' from another mother as the slang goes. Life goes on, but the memories stay with you forever.
No plans for the day. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
We did talk to DD yesterday afternoon. We had gone to a few dealerships last Sunday afternoon looking for a different vehicle for her. Thankfully, all the dealerships were closed. We didn't have to deal with salesmen pouncing on us constantly. You couldn't open any doors, but it sure made the process of elimination easier. She was out on her 2nd test drive of a brand new 2017 Hyundai Tucson when she called us. This vehicle had apparently just come off the truck. She said it had 8 miles on it when she got in. She sent her dad a text with a picture first; then she called us and we talked on speaker phone. He sent her a text back asking if it was hers. I think she finally sent one back later that she had said yes to it, but will do the paperwork tomorrow. I know she has a couple meetings tomorrow morning at work, so it might be afternoon before she gets back to the dealership. She's not one to be aggressive but when it's her money she has learned to dicker! LOL
Carol, I'm glad you had a good day.
Lair, Glad you got an 'OOPS, your mistake' deal. You deserve it. LOL
Snow, I'm glad you got to run away and have some down time for yourself finally.
I'm glad to hear everyone is doing okay. I'll take these cooler temperature, and we all got some rain. I'm just gonna chill for the day.
