Good morning! Have been up early due to crazy dreams that I wanted to stop! Watching Mr. Milt's approach to FL, and I am so worried. Praying hard!
Last night's dinner was a bullseye of comfort...!
I'm going to the senior center this morning. Then I have a former colleague coming to lunch here.
Our iPads arrived yesterday, but I haven't opened them.

Ann- I have been also watching Milton with some anxiety. I really hope Lori and her DH will be okay. I have some other friends in Venice Beach I am worried about too. Nice to have your former colleague coming for lunch, enjoy!

I have Criminal Justice again today but yesterday I had to cover the Intro's for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Whew! Rough kids, Do not have them today.

Lori, I am so glad to hear from you. It's such a shame that you have to deal with this mess after being in poor health. You have my prayers for a safe passage for the storm as well as a good recovery. Hugs.

I just spent nearly 2 days trying to connect my old battery powered mini printer to my new computer here. They were frustrating days but I am proud to say I did it. It is so handy to be able to print things since my handwriting stinks. LOL!

My poor neighbor had to take her mother to the eye doctor in Albany again today. That's 3 days of 2-hour Drive one way. Think that the problem in her other eye is an infection and she's on antibiotics. To make a long story shorter, we did not go for glasses today but plan on it for Friday. I really need these new glasses because it's getting hard to read.

My MRI and Cat Scan tests on Monday finished with record speed with a visit to Verizon in between to put my SIM card into a refurbished phone to replace the one I had with a damaged screen. I bought the refurbished phone from Amazon at half price. Verizon moved the card, updated the phone and it cost me nothing. I like that!

To all of you in the line of this bad weather, you have my prayers. I'm hoping my nephew's house on the West Coast at Palm Bay will miss a lot of it. I have many friends who have moved to the Tampa Bay area and I worry about them. Hopefully, things will work out okay.

Good morning.
It's far from cool here. Either it rained during the night of the dew point is high on it's own. The temp is 77 and the dew point is 68. Miserable out there. But thankfully Mandy was quick.

A small load of dark clothes in the washer. This time of year not much dark anything is worn. The white load is always the largest. Ironing this morning and a small grocery order to be delivered. My last order was mostly "things" I needed, this time it's mostly food.

The park "pot head" told me this morning that the bottom of our utility bill said there would be an increase next month. There was nothing stated on mine. Every other park is going up so it wouldn't surprise me if ours didn't too. With our solar for the park it shouldn't go up as much as he says. I'll call Mary and see if her bill had a notice. You can't believe much of anything he says.

Lori, I was so happy to see your post yesterday. It made my whole day brighter.

Good morning. I walked 2 dogs this morning and then went and did labs.
I walked up to the clubhouse and new signs on the doors. Audio and surveillance cameras. We figured we were being listened to as they knew stuff.

Ann- I am sure you and your friend are having a nice lunch.

Chris- I'm glad you brought your bear to work,lol.

Bet- I miss the northern lights.

Birdy- when do you get your results?

Mamma- I sat on a chair outside and my seat was so wet. I thought for sure it had rained, but it was just humidity.

Love your bear, Chris! So cute. I have nothing to report really. I'm thinking about taking advantage of the Prime/Grubhub offer of 50% off a Grubhub order through today. Pretty good deal for something more substantial than a drive-thru. I'll have to have a think about it. 🤷 Hugs to all.

This was my Friday and I'm pretty happy about that. I ran errands after leaving work at 2, including ordering a new pair of glasses to replace the ones that are probably under a pile of rubble in our bathroom. I've been wearing an older pair and needed to get some with the new prescription the eye dr gave me earlier this year.

ServPro came to the house today and DH said they will hopefully come back tomorrow to get some kind of covering on the house. We haven't had any rain since Helene came through but I know that can't last forever.

We went out to a place right across the street from our hotel for an early supper since neither of us had lunch. We both got salads, followed by a chicken parm wrap for me with a side of green beans, and a bacon cheeseburger & fries for DH. Followed that with a nice walk down Main St and back -- very relaxing. 

I need to make my list of what needs to get done this week. There will be plenty to keep me busy but I know we'll try to have some fun too. 😊
