Good morning! It's clear and cool this morning, but clouds will be moving in. Hoping we get some rain! Right now the moon is hovering over the complex in its almost full glory. Bill got the cabinet assembled almost entirely, but then we decided we needed another set of holes to put in the shelf so I put in a work order. We don't have a drill anymore! The dark grey of the cabinet blends in perfectly with the base of the counter! Today the section of kitchen floor that has a fairly deep scratch from moving in the stove will be replaced. We will told someone will be here after 9am. Who knows, we may be waiting all day!!! We will go to the gym around 8am. Yesterday, I went to a stretching/strength class. Wow, I found muscles I haven't used in quite a while. Not sore this morning, thankfully. I used some of the mini-potatoes (baked then smashed with herbs & garlic) I had in the cabinet. Ordered pork tenderloin with au jus, mushrooms and squash medley. We had a small side wedge salad, too. The salon across the street is on limited hours due to lack of patronage. It's open today. I'm hoping to get in to get my toenails trimmed. Bill has another doctor's appointment later this afternoon. No other plans at the moment. Enjoy your day. Waving!

Good morning friends. A mix of sun and clouds for us today but another day of mid 70s. An amazing spell of weather. The only plan for the day is golfing this afternoon. And we do have to vote for a provincial MP. Our previous MPP resigned from politics a few weeks ago to go back to a private sector job. I'm sure we'll manage to fill our day with something. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Good morning. It was in the high 50's this morning and going into the low 80's today. This weather i unreal for this time of year. However at the moment they are showing showers all next week with morning temperatures in the 40's and highs in the 60's. I don't mind the temperatures but I am on the road working every day next week so will be wet every day.
I just finished getting the last of the plum tomatoes into cans and will process them when I get home from work. I an hour job in the closest town to me and need to do some shopping in Walmart and return the jeans that I ordered that have a 52" waist. Not sure how that happened but I could almost make 2 pairs of jeans out of them for me. When I get back in town I could go south and finish up my last 3 stores for the week but probably wait and do them tomorrow as there is one job I am not looking forward to and work rather have it the first job in the morning and have it done with. When I get home I will put the tomatoes on to process and go back to the greenhouse to do more cutting. I also have a few tomatoes to pick. Depending how I feel when I get home I may go run the DR trimmer and get some areas cleaned up will need to flip a coin between that and the greenhouse.
Ann, hope you don't need to wait too long after 9 for help to come for the cabinet.
Chris, it is great that you have been able to learn more about Dan's family from his cousin.
Tasty, for you to go to the mainland is about the same as me going to Walmart. However, that is a weekly trip as I work in that town. Enjoy your golf while it lasts.
I need to get dressed and on the road or I won't get anything done here this afternoon.
Have a great day.
Bet

Good morning everyone. Chris, good to hear you had an enjoyable visit with Dan’s cousin and DH. Your meal tonight sounds yummy. We plan on getting some squash in the near future, already eaten what we did have, none left. Ann, nice to have a handyman so close by. Is this part of the service there or is it an extra expense? Either way, handy to have someone in the building to help you. Tasty, 55* here at the moment (6:20), but supposed to get up to 72* this afternoon, with rain in the forecast. Hope we get some this time, keeps missing us. Enjoy your golf game. Provincial elections here next month. Hate all the ads. Glad when they’re done with. No idea what’s for supper, but lots of choices in the freezer. Will wait until DH gets up, he can help me choose. Bbl. Jan Hi Bet, just missed your post. Will get some coffee and go back and read it. Good morning. It's cool here but we may get up close to 80. The weather has been beautiful. We were supposed to go to a picnic at a reservoir on the grounds but they had so many sign up that my turn will be next Tuesday. Let's hope the weather cooperates. They will do like we did the last time when we had a picnic and Char my hot dogs before pureeing them. Yippee!
Things are getting very complicated medical wise. I already have an appointment for a CT scan and need to get an MRI and a nerve test before I see my neurologist on October 17th. Who knows what's going to come from that?
At the same time, I need to call my insurance company to see if they will cover some of the surgical costs on my jaw since this Clinic in Rochester will not accept Medicare. The referred specialist is the head of the clinic at the University of Rochester. I'm sure I will get wonderful care, I just don't know how much it's going to cost or if the insurance will cover it since it's technically a Dental procedure. Too many things to think about right now.
I am currently problem solving a couple of issues in the room, the first being how to attach a bag on the inside of my wheelchair that will stay put. There is a gap where it can slide through and rub against the wheel. I bought some industrial strength Velcro which is generally working but it doesn't want to stick to the cloth but it should. I have some fabric glue coming from Amazon today to work on that.
Time to diddle around some more. Talk to you later.

Good morning. Not quite as cool this morning but it I still needed a jacket and shoes. The traffic seems to be overly loud this morning. It was quite a distraction for Mandy. Sunny a touch on the humid side and 69º, heading to a high of 93º. Next week is hot again, not so welcome.
The embosser is coming today, that is still one day early. I was hoping for yesterday but it is what it is. Yesterday I just couldn't sit any longer so I made one card. The cranking of the manual embosser made my arms angry. So I'm sure I did the right thing when ordering an electric one. I just didn't want to spend the money for one.
A load of laundry in the washer and change the sheets to be washed tomorrow. That is all the work for me today. The rest of the day will be play and learn.

Good morning again friends. I am sitting out on the front porch enjoying the warmth and sun! It is another gorgeous day here.
Brian was just here and is hoping to hear about his surgery soon! Still nothing. Our hospital is so slow.

Birdy- Sorry you had to wait on the picnic. I do hope all can get scheduled for you.
Jan- Brian grew winter squash this year and we got quite a few. So I will be cooking some up and freezing them.
Mamma- I hope that the electric one works out for you. I have laundry going too.
I need to do some work on 3 quilts but it is such a nice day and we will not have many left I just want t sit here on the porch!

Good morning. I am sure hoping we hear something from Lori soon.
Last night I was laying awake thinking about all the people who have come through this neighborhood and gone . I can't remember the name of the lady who had a crib full of stuff, she was a hoot. Oh ya and remember Jackie, never a dull moment at her house.lol I miss Paulette, BJ , Nancy, Depo , Marlene just to name a few.

This has been a morning of answering the doorbell as I had two grocery orders delivered. Never tried that before but I had items from both stores that I needed but couldn't get all from one place. Had good luck with them as each order was complete. Birdy, sorry that your medical orders are causing conflicts. Nothing to do with medical issues is easy ever. Elaine, I think about our missing posters, too. I wish them all well but do wish we were all together again. With all my supplies now in their proper places I feel there's enough choice to keep me satisfied for awhile. I'm trying a new frozen roasted veggie pizza for supper tonite. Will add some banana peppers and sprinkle a bit of parmesan over the top. Today seems like Saturday to me for some reason. Hugs to all

Woo hoo, the electric embossing machine came today. I tried it out on two cards, just using embossing folders. And they went very well. I've not yet tried it with the die cuts yet. But I'm sure that will be great for my arms as well. So far I'm very happy with the money I spent. Boy is that thing ever heavy or else It's me getting old and weak. :-S Oh and it's white, and get this, purple. hehehe
