Good morning friends.
I have to go to work for the next 3 days. I will be Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering. One of my favorite classes to work with.
Lori- I hope you are resting well and healing up. Prayers being said for you.
I made Angel hair pasta and meatballs for super last night. I used the last 2 slices of the GF bread for garlic bread. Was good. I had the last 2 pieces of GF brownies for dessert. Good also.
Not sure what tonight holds.

Good morning! It's clear and cool this morning...my kind of weather! Yesterday was a relaxing day. Semi-homemade pizza was delicious with a garden salad. I have an appointment with the nurse practitioner early this morning. Nothing else planned at the moment. Back later! Waving!

Good morning all. It's canning day for this week - tomorrow several of us have a lunch meeting to go to. Feels like canning is a full time job these last few days. Anyway, it is what it is. Waving to all.

Good morning.
Another hot and sticky morning followed by a hot and sticky week. Just a trip to the UPS store to return a faulty golf cart charger. The new one should be here on Thursday, but I won't need it for two weeks. A load of laundry is in the washer and then to make the bed. That is all I have planned for today.
Yesterday Karen came over for a visit and buy some cards. about 15 minutes later she got a phone call and was on the phone for 40 minutes. How rude and inconsiderate. I was beyond angry. Had I been at her house I would have gone home. After her phone call she looked at the cards, paid for them and headed home. No it was not an emergency phone call either, judging by all the laughing. This was not the first time she has done been this rude. I said not a word but she knew I was angry. My face tells my emotions and I did not try to hide them. She asked me to go to lunch with her this week, but I said no, I had spent my September allowance already. Which is not a lie and I was too upset to say yes.
Last night I slept well but had some really strange dreams again. At least they weren't scary dreams.
More egg recalls so I'm sure eggs will be at $6 a dozen in no time. The recall is due to salmonella found in the yolks making people sick. That will limit my baking when ever I can get to that again.
This morning I took out hamburger and trying to decide what to make for supper using that meat. Hmmmmm

Finishing up laundry and making a grocery list. Need fruits and veggies mostly. Wish I had a farmer's market close by. Just now remembered I haven't brought in the garbage bins. It's sunny today with a high of 85 so my short trip to the curb won't be too much. Jan, oh my goodness, I hate that you can't eat most fruits and vegetables. It must be very hard for you. Tasty, I thought probably only midwesterners had that stash of salt on their plates, just in case. So cool your grandfather did too! Thanks for mentioning. Bet, I hope you get your work done today with no worries. Seems it takes some time to get all your jobs scheduled -- kind of like a jigsaw puzzle. Tonite's supper will be BBQ pork sliders and marinated cucumber/onion/tomato salad. Love that stuff. Sweet dreams

Hi ! It's a gorgeous day here. Not for long though, the storm Francine is making her way towards us. On the positive side, it is looking like she will make landfall farther, a east, and the worst rain is Tuesday and Wednesday. That is good news for the shop.
Today I managed grocery shopping this morning. DH came home for lunch and brought the new Jonathan Cahn book that I ordered, so most of what I had plans to do-not much except laundry-won't get done. I plan on reading and more reading. I will make supper, and it will be breaded ranch chicken, leftover baked rice, and harvard beets.
Mamma, I am sorry to hear about how rude Karen was. She certainly should have told the person she would call back.
Waving to everyone, hope it is a sweet evening and a peaceful night for all. Praying for Lori!

Right at 60 degrees for my morning walk today. Oh, it felt so good. Low 80s now -- still great.
I did a grocery shop after work since we needed to get stocked up on meat. I had checked the ads so went to Ingles today mostly for their meats -- stew beef, bottom round roast, and bone-in pork chops. Plus I had a $5 coupon so that helped a bit. I'll stop at Food Lion tomorrow for their specials and then we should be good for a while!
Right now I have cube steak simmering in gravy in the electric skillet for some country-style steak. I'll have mushroom rice with it and I think I'll put together a green salad too.
Mmmm, your pasta sounds good, Chris.
Ann, I got some thin crust pizzas today for our Friday night dinner.
Tasty, hope all goes well and all the cans seal!
Mamma, that was inconsiderate. I've had customers in the drive-thru so busy on their phones they can't answer questions, and act offended when I expect them to! Shaking my head.
Helen, glad you remembered the bins! Hope everything is stowed away nice and tidy.
Tammy, I saw the FB post about your book. I love getting something to read that I've been looking forward to. Hope you enjoy it.
Lori, continuing to pray for you and hope to hear from you soon!

Good night everyone. We lost a good friend here in the park. He sure will be missed but he is no longer suffering.
Prayers continue for Lori.
Doris- thank you for your kind words.
