Thought I'd get back here before this but it's been a busy day. My canning day started just after 8 this morning and we worked thru until about 12.30 and then stopped for our coffee break while the last of the jars went thru the canner. It was close to 2 pm by the time we cleaned up the kitchen, but we got over 120 jars filled with a variety of pickles, jams etc. One thing I have taken on for the group is keeping a record of what we have made and find it's easier to do it the day of, rather than let it go for a few days at which point I'm wracking my brain trying to remember what we did when!! Needless to say, after running some errands with hubby, the rest of my afternoon was filled. Supper tonight was a pork stroganoff with local runner beans and tomato - so good!

Thanks Tammy and Elza. I have oyster sauce not hoisen so I need to get that.
