Good morning friends. For some reason I am having another sleepless night.
I got some good fabric yesterday and some good deals at Old Navy for DGD and DGS. Had a good day with them and niece. We shopped and then had lunch and shopped some more.
Hope everyone has a good day and safe travels to Lori. I hope your home is okay when you get there. Elza good to hear your family is safe.

Just saw the news reports out of Sarasota FL and they are bad. I hope that Lori and her DH find their place okay when they get home.

Morning! It's raining lightly here, but it's supposed to get heavier before all goes out to sea. Hoping to get to the Salem senior center this morning. Yesterday I attended a yoga class. The instructor tried to instruct those using chairs, but it was difficult doing both. She did her best. I liked the class...lights were dimmed, music was soothing and the moves mostly felt good!! We got our NH transponder yesterday so it has to be installed and the MA one returned. I also got another Gorilla brand dish drying mat delivered from Amazon. I now have one for the wash and one for the counter! Last night we had blue cod, mashed cauliflower and shredded sugar snap peas. Ordered shrimp cocktail but decided to save it for another meal. Praying that Lori & DH have a safe trip and find all is well with their home. Waving and hoping everyone stays safe.

Good morning. One moving bid down and one more to go tomorrow. It sure costs a lot to pack and move, the packing is what causes the price to be high, it takes longer than the actual move. So I and Lynda are going to pack as much smaller boxes as our old bodies can to cut the cost down. It will mean quite a few trips although she has a van type vehicle so it will hold more than my SmartCar.
This morning, after I took Mandy down, I went to the office to get my new RO system for the new place. It about killed me to get that heavy box to the golf cart. On the way to my home a new maintenance man was driving by so I asked him for help. He smiled big and said sure I would be happy to help. What a nice change to have some help around here. Chris and Phil do nothing but drive around smoking.
WM order this morning and then to the other office to drop off my paper work and put gas in the car. I better put gas in the car first though. I'll start on some packing some time this week. Once papers are okayed I'll start moving and Oscar can start on the work I need down before I move in. So much to do.

Good morning. Been busy already. Lab then cleaned up palm crap in Janices yard. They just grabbed the big stuff and said they would be back forv5he small stuff when done with park. This is week 4 and they haven't done 2 streets yet. I needed to get it cleaned up because she had plants underneath.
Chris- I was up all night also. It was thundering at 2 so I was hoping we'd get rain but only a few sprinkles about 2:30.
Ann- another great sounding meal. They sure know how to cook.
Mamma- when is your pain injection?

Just hanging out as the housecleaner works her magic. Wacked my hair earlier this morning. Looks and feels better with ponytail much shorter. Supper will be a wedge salad with the works, including blue cheese dressing. Slice or two of garlic bread to sop up last bits of salad, also. Hope the weather is being kinder, friends, for the rest of the week. Hugs

Elaine, my shoulder injections are on August 14th, next Wednesday. The timing couldn't be more perfect.
I've turned in my paper work and will know tomorrow about the background check. No trouble anticipated. Then the wheels will really begin to roll. Oh and I checked to see how they will be able to get my desk into the room I want. They will have to go all the way around to the back and that is very uneven ground. But it is doable, just tricky walking. I'll be praying for sure. I put gas in the car on the way home and now I'm staying home. Mandy will love that.
My tummy is telling me it needs to be filled. So an egg salad sandwich will get made. I need to think more about supper.

Mamma, wow, things are moving right along. I can "hear" how excited you are -- and how nice that the maintenance guy actually helped! That's a good sign.
Chris, sounds like y'all were in the zone on your shopping trip!
Ann, I've never done a yoga class but that does sound relaxing. Is the transponder for toll roads? They use those in Kentucky for a couple of the bridges over the Ohio.
Elaine, the park should be paying you! Aggravating that the people who should be doing it, aren't.
Helen, salad and garlic bread is a great combination. We had that last night, along with our spaghetti.
Some good news from our extended family -- our nephew who played minor league baseball for many years, is back at The Citadel, where he played college ball. But this time he's the pitching coach for the Bulldogs! They have a new coach there who knew him, and our nephew was the first assistant coach he hired. So we're excited for him & his wife & baby Josie!

Good evening, Just a super quiet day here. I did not have to go anywhere. DH is having some trouble again with the rear brakes locking up on the truck-the same brakes that were just repaired in February. He called the Chevy dealer and they said it should be covered under a warranty. Supper was tuna noodle casserole. I also made a pot of tortilla soup tonight and will reheat it tomorrow. I woke up around 2:30 and was wide awake, could not get back to sleep, so I got up and played on the tablet until about 5. I went back to bed and slept a little more.
Hoping finds her home dry when she arrives. Waving!

Thought I'd best show up late rather than not at all. Been another busy day. An early morning trip to the bank was followed by a trip to a friend's place. She had some canning jars she no longer needed - 2 big boxes of them. I also stopped at the local hospital auxiliary shop who keep any jars the receive for us to pick up and then spent the rest of the morning, cleaning and sorting them. Then it was a golfing afternoon - just beautiful out there.

Hi. I am hoping Lori's house is dry. Just hearing all the damages from Debbie and now into the Carolinas. Now, the tornadoes.
My rash has finally gone away, thank goodness. Of course the dark legs still stayed. I wish that would go away.
